As a fan since 2012, back in my senior college year, this was a dream come true. The pictures may not be that good, as I am not a professional photographer and I prefer enjoying the moment rather than take pictures most of the time, but as a socially anxious fan who has mostly stayed indoors since the pandemic, this event is priceless. I hope they come back soon enough ❤️

Rugby star claps back at anti-gay abuse after wearing nail polish

Australian rugby star Reece Walsh clapped back against homophobic abuse over his decision to paint his nails.

Fullback Reece Walsh faced a barrage of slurs from the crowd at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, in Liverpool, after he was temporarily side-lined during Australia’s clash with England on Saturday (1 November). Journalist Dean Ritchie, who was at the rugby league match, said the abuse was “horrendous” and contained “vile insults no player should have to endure”. The Sydney Morning Herald’s Michael Chammas, who was also covering the game, said the chants specifically targeted the Brisbane Broncos star for wearing nail polish.
