Tom: Yeah, my kids won't be doing any industry related working until they're eighteen, can make their own decisions and can't turn around and point fingers towards me. I want them to have as normal of a life as possible.

Tom: Oh, those guys aren't even men yet, if they're jealous over a child. If you ever find yourself dealing with that, run. If you ever need a babysitter, you know who to call. I'll be happy to take him for an evening or overnight to get you some free time with your guy. Him being young definitely does help, but I know kids can take divorces and break-ups as hard as the parent/s, if it happens way down the road. My niece still asks about you all the time, as much as she loves Lizzie, and she's only met you a small amount of times.

Tom: Thanks, love. Yeah one of those, the timing was never right-the timing was finally right situations. I still can't really believe it, any of it. Of course you're invited, are you crazy??? That's something I'd have to talk over with Lizzie. Depends on whether or not you'd even feel comfortable doing that. I know we're moved on and friends and genuinely happy for one another, but...you know. Either way, I'm sure that's an easier booking than Paul McCartney, and equally as exciting. lol.

Taylor: Same here. I'm going to try and keep him away from the spotlight as much as possible. I know I won't always be able to keep him away from the paps but I'll definitely try. They have a tendency to invade one's privacy without asking for permission.

Taylor: I know, but we both know there are plenty of guys like that out there. Thank you, I appreciate it Tom! After my mom, you would definitely be my next option. I know, I think it's a good thing that it happens in this age, he has no idea what's happening and they can create a bond from a young age. I mean, I don't know if this will last, might just end up being another failed relationship but I'm hopeful. Oh really? That's adorable, we need to get together sometime so that I can see her again. She was always such a sweetheart.

Taylor: I totally get it. Well, you might not want your ex on your wedding, Tom, wouldn't be that surprising ahahah Oh I know, I was mostly joking but if you actually want it to happen and she does as well, just let me know. I'm sure it would be beautiful to see you both dancing to the sound of Lover. Tom, I would be more than happy to do it, it would be an honor. Jen: that is 🥺 utterly heart melting, i feel as though i may just fizzle away into bubbles of sheer and utter love over how happy i am for you? like, i mean it when i say there's no one else more deserving of such bliss and happiness. i just know you're the GREATEST mom. and what a lucky kid to say he has taylor swift as a mom? what the fuck, he is living my dream life. how old is he? & yes, i would absolutely love that! granted, i am still waddling to and fro while i wait for baby to make an arrival, but i'd waddle cross country for you.

Taylor: Don't worry about it, it's fine. I mean, I only told to a few people, I wanted to keep it as private as possible. And then the media went ahead and told the entire world, taking the chance from me to do it. Either way, doesn't really matter, I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. Taylor: Thank you so much Jen, that means a lot to me. I was in a such a bad place after the break up with Joe, then going ahead and finding out I was pregnant with his baby. Yeah, my thoughts and emotions were all over the place, I was so angry and upset at first, but then I realized that what mattered was the baby and that I was going to love him more than anyone in this world. I'm trying, it's all new and scary but my mom's been helping me a lot. I don't know if I would be able to do it without her. He's about to be two months old! I'm currently in Buffalo but I can make my way towards you if it's easier, where are you currently?

Tom: Oh, no. We never want to force our own career paths on our kids. People are so mean-spirited and competitive in our industry. All I mean is, I think it would be inevitable for him not to be talented musically in one form or the other. Of course he'll do great things, he's your son.

Tom: Taylor, you are so lovely inside and out, a kid is hardly an obstacle. If they aren't willing to love your son, they aren't deserving of your time to begin with. That is nice. Just be mindful of how fast you're going with him, especially when your baby is involved, you know? How long have you been dating?

Tom: I honestly haven't had a lot of time to share the news, to be honest with you. I proposed to her on New Years at midnight, she said yes and ever since, she's been asking me to elope with her because she doesn't want to wait throughout the process of planning a wedding, and I understand, so I gave in. We're still having some sort of a wedding for loved ones up the road.

Taylor: For sure, I would never want my kid to go through what I did. I guess, we'll have to wait and see. I mean, it's on the genes so. You're sweet for saying that, thank you :)

Taylor: We both know there are guys out there who wouldn't be willing to deal with that, wouldn't want to have to share attention with a kid. And knowing that no matter what, my son would always be my priority. You are right, we're a package, you'll have to take us both. I know, don't worry. I want to spend time with him so that we can get to know each other better, you know? We can't do that if we're three hours or more away from each other. And since Darius is still young, it won't be much of a difference to him. A few weeks, it hasn't been that long.

Taylor: I understand that. I'm so happy for you both, really! Congratulations! I have to text Lizzie to congratulate her on the wedding as well. You deserve this, it's so good to see you happy and being able to find love with someone as nice as her. Well, I hope I get invited ;) just kidding, but let me know if you want someone singing at the wedding, I would happily do it.

Taylor: You're not, I tried to keep it as private as possible during the entire pregnancy. The media pretty much only found out by the end of it, when it was impossible to hide the bump on public, I would call that a win.

Taylor: Well, what can I say? He's doing very well, he's the cutest baby, I never thought I could love a human being this much. And I'm also doing amazing, being a mom has been the best experience of my life. I miss you too, we should do something together soon!

Tom: You never are looking for love when the best ones find you. I'm glad he's good to not only you, but your son, that's most important. You two are a package deal. Lizzie looks at my baby like she's her own. And now she kind of is, given we've tied the knot yesterday.

Taylor: I would love to see him grow up to share the same love for music that I have but I'm not going to pressure him into anything, I'll let him take his own path. Either way, I'm sure he will do great things.

Taylor: For sure, I was scared that when I found someone they would give up on trying something because I already have a kid, but Stef has been very understanding and supportive. He even offered to turn one of his guest room at his place into a nursery for Darius so we can spend more time together.
