He didn’t initially answer, choosing instead to inch just a touch closer.  It had been a while.  In fact, the last time Ben had seen Poe was at this very club the last time he was here.  

“I’ve been busy, and I don’t come here often.  Do you?” he finally replied, speaking over the music.  

Poe raised an eyebrow, understanding what the other wanted. He took his time to reply, but he did hook his fingers in two of Ben’s belt loops. He pulled Ben close, so that their hips were touching.

“I decided to stay on the ground this week. Been all over the world and then some.” Poe rolled his hips, gently swaying to move to the music.

That couldn’t be... What? How did this happen? Poe looked over at the other man. It was his week off and he figured why not go and get a drink. He only wanted to sit and watch, but this changed the night a bit. So much for a fly on the wall.

Poe downed the rest of his alcohol, and shook off the burn that climbed in his throat. He made his way out to the dance floor. “It’s been a while.”

“I don’t know why I’m nervous,” he groaned.  “I’m perfectly fine with one night stands and such.”

Poe got a light blush. Yes, of course. A one night stand. That’s all this was. Never mind the pilot had been dreaming of the Jedi for weeks now. “Well, I’m sure I can make you more comfortable.”

Poe smiled, giving Obi a kiss on the cheek. “I don’t mind one bit, I promise you.”

Despite his stammering and blushing, Obi-Wan couldn’t help but smile back.  “I thought as much.  I’m just a tad nervous.”

Poe gave him another sweet kiss on the cheek. “It’ll be fun, buddy. No need to be nervous.”

Fairly Important Update

Hey guys, sorry for my absence. While there are personal reasons for it, I mostly wanted to update about a few things.

I have a Breath of the Wild rp blog! I’m definately crossover friendly, if anyone wants to interact with a singing bird. You can find me at kassthebird.tumblr.com!!

The main thing is, however, I won’t be posting as much about the trailer. I’m currently stuck in my house. I’m severely allergic to smoke, and the Napa fires are contaminating the air, even where I am. I’m safe from the fires, but the smoke is preventing me from doing, well, anything, really. 

The fires are still unfolding, with no containment in sight. The winds have died down, so that’s a step in the right direction. Needless to say, this is putting a damper on my excitement for the trailer. 

So sorry about the lack of activity, you guys. I’ll be on the Kass blog and desperately trying to breathe. Love you all <3

“Maybe, but the Council would never let me.  I…it’s not like I’ve never thought of it, nor wished for it. I just know better than to raise my own hopes up,” Obi-Wan said heavily.  He tried not to look at Poe, hearing the pain in his voice anyway.

Poe looked at his feet, saddened. The pilot never intended to get this involved with the Jedi, but here he was. “There has to be a way.”

The colour on his face darkened hearing his voice and the words that came out. his eyes fell and he turned his head slightly away from him. “Don’t talk to me like that.” He said biting down on his tongue.

Kylo huffed his eyes rolling though the hadn’t looked towards Poe. “That’s a mistake on your end. You’ve had time for those to fade away.”

Poe sat down, head in his hands. All these years, all this time, and he thought that there was a glimmer of hope for Ben. He guessed he was wrong.
