yeah well we've made a Single One of a Kind One Ring card! it will be released randomly into the world. whoever finds it will probably instantly become a millionaire.

that's right, we recreated the One Ring in real life! we integrated its narrative purpose diagetically into real life!! we have created an artifact of unreasonable wealth and power and released it into the world for you to fight over!

but there's only one Lord of the Rings, and only one true winner, which is WotC

Ironically I would say that Digimon is worse with their secret rares. 

Obviously there’s not only 1 super rare of a card, but making a rare version of an already rare card is more annoying to me then making 1 fancy sol ring I could normally get for a 1$
