Amazing Adventures with Emily, the Elves, and the Goblins!:
Sophie comes through the portal and is greeted by all elves. Emily groans in the bottom right corner. / Emily went to Elvendale through the magical Treeportal. hat she didn't realize is that her little sister Sophie followed her.
"Hello! How cool! Is that your little sister Sophie?" - Azari
"Hey, hellooo! I am Sophie." - Sophie
"It's so lovely to meet you Sophie. Welcome to Elvendale!" - Naida
Emily procceeds to look grumpy while Azari comforts her. Farran is giving Sophie a vine in the background.
"Hey Sophie. How about we start with a vine-tour. What do you think?" - Farran
"Oh yeeees! How exciting." - Sophie
"Come on Emily! It's always so much fun when we swing on the vines!" - Azari
/said and done: the vine-tour is in full motion. Sophie is enthusiastic, Emily isn't/ They are showing swinning on the vines, everyone is smiling but Emily
"Huiii, this is amazing! Hahahahaha!" - Sophie
"Hey Emily, is everything alright?" - Naida
"Ahhh... I think I'm going to fall!" - Emily
/and Sophie already has an idea/ The gang is happy but Sophie suggests for Aira to use her wind magic, they all end up falling.
"Eeeey Aira, Can't you create more wind? Then we can swing even higher!" - Sophie
"Great Idea! One moment!", "Wind, wind, come fast! Carry us above the trees there!" (<- awful rhyme in both german and englisch)
/Unfortunatly is Aira's wind magic too strong and the friends can no longer keep their grip on the vines./
/and in under a minute they falled into the river/ Every one falls into the river and is still happy, only Emily is angry.
"Darn! Now we are all wet!" - Emily
"Hahaha!! That was hilarious!" - Sophie
"Goodness gracious!" - Naida
"Oops... looks like that was a bit too much magic... hihihi..." - Aira
In the next panel Naida notices Sophie's bracelet and Sophie suggest another idea of hers. Emily tries to stop them.
"What a pretty bracelet." - Naida
"Thanks! It was a birthday gift from Emily. Hey Naida, can't you build a waterfall out of the waves?"
Naida happily creates a swirl around her. /Naida quickly makes a giant waterfall out of the riverwaves/
"Watermagic, let the waves dance like never before!" - Naida
The gang gets violently swept to shore, Sophie is the only one enjoying herself this time. Farran finds a golden nut on the floor and takes it. /But Naida's magic was also too strong, and the friends couldn't withstand it./
"Ahhhhh! Nooooo!" - Emily
"Ahhhhh- Oh, a golden nut? I'm going to take this one with me." - Farran
Everyone is drying themsleves of. Emily angrily twists her ponytail and Naida blows away the water. Sophie is still happy.
"Azari, can't you dry us with your fire magic?" - Sophie
"Hmmm let me see..." - Azari
/Finally, Emily had had enough/ Emily angrily goes over to Sophie, Azari and Naida are also in the pannel.
"No Sophie! The your silly ideas end now! Azari, please no firemagic!" - Emily
"Emily is right." - Azari
"It's not wise to play with fire." - Naida
In the next pannel the gang is talking. Azari and Aira ar not in frame.
"I'm sorry, Em. It just was so much fun." - Sophie
"It's alright. Just please stop with the silly ideas." - Emily
"Hey, Mr Spry just opened a juice bar next to his shop. Wanna go?" - Farram
"Great Idea, I am thirsty!" - Naida
The next drawing is of Cronan, vibbing on his throne in the middle of the forest with the goblins. /Something dark is going on deeper in the forest, while the group is on the way to Mr. Spry's juice bar./
"EMILY! I need Emily Jones with her amulet! And you will bring her to me..." - Cronan
The next page takes place at Mr Spry's Shop/Juicebar. They read out of heart-shaped menus made out of leaves and Mrs.Spry is wearing a backpack. /Not aware of what was happening at the other part of the forest, study Emily, Sophie and the elves the juiceselection of Mr.Spry.
"I think I'm going to take a fresh nutjuice." - Azari
"Oh yes, that sounds wonderful." - Naida
"I would like the same, please!" - Emily
"Delicious! I want that too!" - Sophie
"I'm going to take a nutjuice with blackberries." - Farran
"And one nutjuice with strawberries, please!" - Aira
/suddenly an old acquaintance of Farran comes out of the forest/
Farran has a flashback of Mrs. Spry with a nut-catapult.
"Mrs.Spry...uhm...so...I..." -Farran
"Farran! Watch out!" - Emily
Mrs. Spry throws nuts at Farran and destroys the bar during her throwing. Farran climbs up a tree.
"Ow! Please stop, Mrs Spry!" - Farran
Farran remembers how Mrs Spry and he found the earth key.
"But, but, Mrs Spry! I thought.... we made up last time!" - Farran
"Faster, Farran! She almost got you!" - Azari
"What's up with those two?" - Sophie
A tower of glasses belonging to Mr. Spry gets destroyed by Mrs. Spry. /And nyoom- the next nut hail came falling down/ /and ripped a glass out of Mr. Spry's hand/ /Now it has gotten too wild for him and he intervenes./ /The wild chase is quickly stopped by Mr.Spry and the two rivals are now friendly face-to-face. Farran gives Mrs.Spry his golden nut he had previously found./
"Please forgive the mess Mr.Spry." - Emily
"Can we help somehow? Maybe pick up the nuts and fruits..." - Sophie
"Yes, let's go do that while the drinks are being made!" - Naida
"Here, for you Mrs.Spry, I really don't want to quarrel with you." - Farran
In the next page we see everyone go into a different directions. Emily drags Sophie with her and we see goblins standing on trees, in the background. /Said and done. While the squirellcouple prepares drinks leave the friends to go collect the lost fruit and nuts./
"Sophie, stay by my side! You don't know this place very well..." - Emily
Emily and Sophie talk in the foreground while Farran is hung upside down by his leg by two goblins.
"Elvendale is a magical world. I also had to get used to quite a few things first." - Emily
"Aha. For example?" - Sophie
Emily and Sophie continue talking. The goblins put a leaf-bucket? over Aira.
"That elf magic is strong. Way too strong to do silly things with." - Emily
"But I didn't force them too..." - Sophie
They continue talking. Naida falls into a hole.
"No, you didn't but they are easily persuaded by your ideas..." - Emily
"I am very sorry, Emily." - Sophie
More talking. Azari gets covered in glue and feathers.
"It's okay. Now you know what could happen." - Emily
"I'll be more careful in the future." - Sophie
Emily and Sophie turn around and discover that everyone is gone.
"Where are the others?" - Emily
"No idea. Definitely not here." - Sophie
In the next panel we see all the elves hidden in their respective traps while Emily and Sophie contemplate. /At first glance the sisters can't see anything, but they are able to hear weird noises/
"Grmpf... heelp! Heelp" - Farran
"Do you hear that?" - Emily
"Yeah but it is so muffled...what is that?" - Sophie
"Eww, disgusting..." - Azari
In the following page, Emily and Sophie get attacked by a monster wrapped in feathers.
"Amily... Soapie... where aer yu? Hilp..." - Azari in feathers
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaah.... Emily!!! What is that creature?" - Sophie
"No idea... But it is definitely scary!" - Emily
"Sophie, look out!" - Emily
"AAAAAH...Emily!!! What does the thing want from us?"
/In that moment realizes Emily who is under the feathers/ Emily takes of feathers from Azari's face.
"Azari... is that you?" - Emily
"Yeeeee... hiiilp! Amily... hilp me!" - Azari
"Azari? Why are you covered in feathers?" - Sophie
We see the 3 in the bottom left corner, while we see the rest of the gang in their traps in the right corner.
"What luck! Emily, those were goblin traps... the others..." - Azari
"Where are the others?" - Emily
"THERE! Emily! Farran is hanging from the tree! And over there is Aira." - Sophie
In the next pannel we see the 3 girls dashing away to help their friends. /The sisters hurry to help their trapped friends/
"Farran! Stay with me, I'm comming!" - Emily
"Darn, darn, darn! Why is it so sticky!" - Aira
"Aira! I am going to help you!" - Sophie
The next two panels show them helping: /While Emily tries her best to free Farran/ /Is Sophie trying her luck with Aira/ In the final shot we see Emily looking at her glowing amulet /Emily realizes, that they can only solve their problem by working together/
"Farran, I can't get up!" - Emily
"Help...Emily...help me!" - Farran
"Don't be scared Aira, I'm helping you! Why is that thing so thight...aaargh..." - Sophie
"Sophie... I can't see anything..." - Aira
"ELVES! We must unite our powers NOW!" - Emily
/But Emily's plan fails/ We see the elves using their powers as it backfires. Azari sets herself on fire, Farran is making the vines go crazy, and Naida + Aira are not accomplishing anything. Emily looks sad at her Amulet
"Ohhhh... not good..." - Farran
"Come on... darn!" - Naida
"Ahhhhh... the feathers are burning!" - Azari
"Emily! It's not working!" - Sophie
/Suddenly, Sophie gets an idea.../ we see Sophie thinking about the Sprys' and then running away.
"Emily, wait! I have an idea!" - Sophie
"Sophie! Where are you going? Stay here!" - Emily
"I will be right back!" - Sophie
/Moments later Sophie reaches her destination and tries to talk with Mr. and Mrs.Spry to try to explain the situation.../4
"Can you guys understand me? We need your help... the elves stepped into traps... we can't free them on our own... please help us!" - Sophie
/Shorty after returns Sophie to the scene of crime and carries help with her/
"Sophie! Where have you been?" - Emily
"I brought help. We can't do this on our own, Emily!" - Sophie
We see how the elves get saved one by one. /And the helpers seemed to know.../ /...what had to be done./ Mrs. Spry chews the vines that were keeping Farran trapped. Mr. Spryy destroyed the support of Aira's headcage. /Just like Sophie/ and Sophie rubbed the feathers away from Azari using a stick.
"Mrs. Spry... help me..." - Farran
"Oh my... that sticky stuff!" - Azari
"We're almost done..." - Sophie
/...and Emily also finally understood Sophie's plan./ We see Emily pouring water into Naida's hole.
"Watch out, Naida! Water is coming!" - Emily
"Thank you so much!" - Naida
/And suddenly, with the right help.../ /...goes everything so fast./ /And in seconds.../ /are the elves once again able to help each other with united powers./
Here comes a cute picture were the elves finally get to use their powers to help each other. Reminder to self: don't forget to add the pic later: S.30
On the next page, the first panel shows us everyone hugging while angry copy-and-paste goblins are in the background. /And once again have the friends been saved by united magic.../ /...although with a little bit of outside help./
"Thank you, Mrs.Spry!" - Farran
"What a nut can do for you!" - Aira
"That was so great, Sophie!" - Azari
"You've done great, Emily!" - Naida
We see Emily and Sophie standing next to each other while Aira shakes Mr. Spry's hand.
"Thank you, Sophie! We probably wouldn't have made it without you and your clever idea. I'm proud of you!" - Emily
"And I'm proud of you! What you did there was awesome!" - Sophie
"Hey Mr. Spry, now I could really use a cold, fresh, strawberry-nut juice!" - Aira
/And once again go the friends to try out Mr.Spry's new juicebar./ In the second last panel of the page, we see everyone happily leaving.
"Great idea, Aira. Come Mrs.Spry. Would you like to put your arm in mine?" - Farran
"Oh man, I am also thirsty. It sure was a busy day." - Emily
"I'm just glad that not everything was my fault." - Sophie
"Ha ha ha, Sophie, you know you weren't actually at fault for anything, right?" - Azari
In the next scene we see Cronan yelling at his minions in the forest. /While the friends are drinking juice, is a magic expanding in another part of the forest, a magic that has an especially evil influence over the tiny goblins./
"Aaaah! Why did you let them run?! Go, Goblins! Try it again and this time bring me Emily Jones and her magical Amulet here! Run!" - Cronan
/...but the friends are not aware of it./ In the next page we firstly see the elves chilling at the juicebar. Azari is looking into a magical ball while everyone else is drinking their red juice.
"Those were definitely goblintraps... Farran, a bit more strawberry please." - Aira
"What Aira? Those tiny cute gnomes? But they usually only put up funny traps, not cruel ones like these." - Emily
"Cute? They stopped being cute ages ago. They only do stupid stuff ever since these creatures have been cursed by the goblin-king." - Azari
In the next page we see Sophie alone on the ground looking at nuts. /Suddenly, Sophie makes a discovery./
"Oh no, there are still nuts and berries that we wanted to pick up. Better do it now." - Sophie
Next picture is of the elves looking at a tree were Sophie has previously sat on but she is not there.
"Where is my sister?" - Emily
"Again? Oh no! The goblins!" - Aira
/But there was not a single trace of Sophie.../
"Oh no... SOPHIE! Sophie, where are you?" - Emily
We see Sophie jumping out from behind a tree, she is carrying the nuts and berries.
"BUH! Here I am! Hahaha!" - Sophie
"SOPHIE! You scared me! Oh man..." - Emily
/A few hours later, the elves managed to repair a Treehouse that was completely destroyed by the goblins./ We see the elves and Emily sitting on the ground exhausted. In the background Sophie is getting kidnapped.
"Oof, finally done. How about a round of nutjuice? I can't get enough of this stuff." - Azari
"Great idea! We earned it." - Naida
"By the way, where is Sophie?" - Aira
"Oh man... she is probably fooling us again!" - Emily
"But still. Those goblins are not to mess with. Let's go look for her." - Farran
We see the elves once again searching everywhere. Naida is crouching infront of a tree and notices Sophie's bracelet laying on the ground.
"SOOOPHIIIE!" - Azari, Emily, Aira
"Oh no!!!" - Naida, thinking
/But what Naida finds, is not Sophie.../ in the last scene of this comic, we see everyone gather around Naida as she shows the bracelet.
"Emily, I found Sophie's bracelet..." - Naida
"Oh no... you guys don't think that she has been kidnapped by the goblins?" - Emily
"I'm scared she might have been..." - Aira
This was the end of the first comic. The second comic continues the story and starts with a synopsys of the previous comic.
