Why is sex so scary? I just donât understand. When did it become disgusting and a crime to revel in intimacy and love your nakedness and the nakedness of others? A platform without sexual content is described as âpositiveâ? Well, Tumblr, you must never get laid. Or are you an exteme right winged Christian who thinks itâs a dirty act that only exists behind closed doors when absolutely necessary? Youâre wrong. You are so wrong. It was here that I learned to love my love of sex and not feel so ashamed. It was here that communities have been built and people have come together to feel included and safe and speak honestly and freely about all the odd things intimacy has to offer. Here people vented through posts and art and such and shared this sex positive connection with others all across the globe. All sorts of kinks, fetishes, quirks, you name it. They were welcome. Doesnât matter what youâre into, Tumblr had a community for it. But most importantly, they had access to people who had knowledge on these things and together, we built safe communities.
And your excuse is a more positive platform?
I knew America took some steps backwards but I didnât know you were going along for the ride. I hate to break it to you Tumblr and whoever else is monitoring and âcleansingâ the internet butâŚ
We fuck. Like, actually fuck. Humans? Yea. We Fuck. Hard and dirty and disgusting and wholly and kinky. We.
And as much as you want to pretend itâs an abomination and should never be spoken of outside of a Christian married coupleâs sheetsâŚ
I hope youâve put as much time into cleansing your site of sex into all of the nazi and racist blogs Iâve recently come across. Wouldâve been nice to have a large post from y'all about that.
Sex recognition and positivity is not your worst nightmare. Itâs reality. And itâs now.
