Nate sat in the bar, a scotch to his side and a paper infront of him. He was currently reading one of the articles when he noticed a shadow cast over it, glancing up to spot the alpha that had found him on the beach. “Good afternoon.” he hummed, a small smile tugging at his lips.

Kekoa had found himself bored and decided to head out for a walk when he spotted the omega he had helped during heat week. Walking over, he was about to make his presence known but the man turned toward him. “Good afternoon to you too, love,” he said with a smile. “How are you doing?”
“I’m good. How about yourself?” He hummed, licking his lips. “I started to think you fell off of the side of the earth.” He chuckled, shaking his head.
"I'm doing well. Trying to get through each day with as much ease as possible," he said with a smile. At the other's words he gave a light laugh. "Nah. Still here, love."

The grin stayed in place although it softened a little from the agreement. “It’s over and done with now, but this place really sells it up to the T.” Callum saw the barista motion that the drink was ready and he went over to get it after he rearranged the items that were already in his hands. “Here you go- and sorry again for the spill.”
"This place is beautiful. Got myself a house in the woods which is just wonderful." He let his eyes follow the man as he went to grab the new drink for him. "It's fine. No use in crying over spilled milk, yeah?" He gave the man a smile.

Kekoa just gave the man a light nod of his head, dark gaze settling on him as one of the other cafe’s employees moved to clean up the mess of spilled coffee. “They should probably working on making this front area a bit more roomy,” Kekoa said in jest, smirk on his lips as he tried to make light of the situation. “You new here? Don’t think I’ve seen you about.”

A light laugh slipped from him as he glanced back at the man he had bumped into. “Well, to be fair, I feel like the two of us take up a good amount of room. Oh, no, well- sort of. I got here before the heat and rut started, but I kind of kept to myself for the most part. Just to, ah, get familiar with the island.”
"Mm. That I can agree upon." Kekoa let out a laugh as he looked the other over then the space in which they occupied. "That was a mess of a week," muttered Kekoa. "Exploring your surroundings is always a good way to settle in. I did the same my first week here."

Alone for the morning for the most part, Kekoa found himself heading to the cafe in town where he indulged himself for the most part in a danish and a latte. He wasn’t much of a breakfast person, but he did enjoy having a little something here and there with his coffee when the mood struck. Scanning the cafe for a booth, he turned quickly when he spotted one and stopped only when someone not paying attention bumped right into him. His coffee spilled everywhere and he pressed his lips together for a moment. “No problem. I can always buy a new one.”
“Thanks again,” Callum said with his trademark smile bright on his face. The extra pastry didn’t need to be given to him for free, but the barista insisted and he hardly had it in him to say no. He hadn’t been looking in front of him like he should have and that landed him in this situation. A swear slipped from him as his smile fell into a frown. “No, wait let me get you one. It’s the least I can do,” he said as he looked back over to the front counter to motion for another drink the man had previously.Â
