Do you think that after Lorraine went into labour at the antique shop they left in such a hurry that they left the tape recorder behind? Also, I can’t help but notice in the moments leading up to the birth the characters say things like “how’s the baby?”, like, they don’t refer to her as a girl until they put her in the basket and Lorraine asks “what’s wrong with her”. I don’t know, maybe I just have too much time on my hands.
