Carcass is a death, medical pathology, gore themed band, formed in ‘86 in Liverpool, UK. It was active during the years ‘86-‘96 and 2007 - nowadays, continuing it’s activities.

Initially, the band was founded during it’s founders teenage years, as a school band (by Bill Steer & Ken Owen). Nowadays, it’s members are: Jeff Walker(frontman, bassist & vocalist), Daniel Wilding (drummer), Bill Steer(guitarist & vocalist) and James Blackford(guitarist).

This band is considered by many to be the inspiration and an influence for other bands, mostly of goregrind and deathgrind.

In the ‘90, Carcass switched to melodic death metal, yet their presence and initial music had a big impact on the music scene, enough to make them remarkable and remembered even after they changed their genre to something else.

Nortt is a funeral doom/black metal one man band formed in 1995 in Odense, Denmark. And it’s still active.

It’s songs are about death, solitude, existentialism and darkness. It’s first demo was released in 1997, and is named “Nattetale”.

The artist goes by an eponymous pseudonym and describes his music as "pure depressive black funeral doom metal", using corpse paint.

Streams of Blood is a black metal band formed in Germany that’s still active. Their songs are about self-destruction. The band was formed in 2009.

Streams of Blood (“Allgegenwärtig” album ) is a solo atmospheric black metal based project started in 2009 and released in 2017. The choice of instruments managed to capture that specific old black metal atmosphere making it worth listening to.

Apati is a depressive suicidal black metal/ post eock band from Sweden, formed in Våsterås by Pessimisten and Obehag. They’re currently split-up, the years they were active were 2007-2011.

The themes of their songs are depression, suicide, alcohol, angst and suicide.

Marduk is a Swedish black metal band formed in Norrköping in 1990. Their debut album is called “Dark Endless”. The name of the band represents an ancient Babylonian deity(Marduk). They’re still active, over all these years the band had multiple members, but at this time the current members are: Daniel Rostèn aka “Mortuus”(vocalist), Simon Schilling aka “Bloodhammer”(drummer) and Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson aka “Evil” (guitarist).
