Loving the new drifter's face customizations, btw. Can't wait for more options... to never actually use them, because I get way too attached to my characters faster than I manage to make them "perfect", and that's the reason why they look like permanently annoyed gender bent Ron Perlman in half of my games, but I still love them and use the same presets every walkthrough.

So about that KIM dumpster fire...

The main thing I'm afraid of are not the actual bugs themselves (although don't you ever dare to take my blueberry man away from me, DE, I'll find you and read you a ten hour lection about how WRONG you are. In three. Different. Languages! Prepare your pee bottles) I'm scared this is going to be yet another Railjack/content island situation. Everyone's frustrated and dissapointed of how broken this stuff is and they'll go "We see you don't like this thing anymore, so we'll just completely abandon it".

While I agree with "no more sex for now", KIM has endless possibilities for lore, extra worldbuilding & simple fun things if you tone it down with the booleans and keep the quality on The Hex level (wth happened with Drifter by the way, did they sniff too much Scaldra juice during the 1999 update? I feel like their IQ, fun and curiosity all fell from a 9-storey building).

It's like Codex, but sooo much better for sparking the interest in general audience.

Or, you know, how about romance without making it sexual? I'm not even ace, on a scale of famously horny Warframe community I'm somewhere in the middle (probably even closer to the top scores on some occasions Styanax deluxe *cough*), but I hate how much every damn romance novel/movie/whatever is about sex now. What happened with writing romantic scenes where LI's never even touch each other, but the tension is so high you have to mop yourself from the floor? Are we too spoiled by AO3 and porn to appreciate something like Malcolm x Inara (Firefly)? Is it simply because sex is easy to sell and takes less effort to write? Or is it both, perhaps?

Aaanyway, thanks for coming to my TED talk. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, overreacting and trere's nothing to fear. And (despite this illiterate rant) I feel optimistic about DE making the right choices, both for them and their players. We may not like those choices, but they will deliver new, creative things for us to love.

Bugfixing debt is not going to grow endlessly, tho. With how many old things are still broken and these new.. situations... the game might collapse like a house of cards one day.

This post on Reddit inspired me enough to overcome my crippling social anxiety and finally post something outside my hard drive or personal space. And since I can't draw even if you're holding Lex to my head, captura time it is.

Sure, I'd spend some days sitting on the stairs in Duviri, ugly crying, drinking cheapest kubuchi I could find, mourning our endless talks, but is this not every Tenno's greatest gift and curse - "...to see inside an ugly broken thing...and take away its pain"? I'd still tell him stories. Annoy him. Feed chocolate to his demons until they can't fly anymore, only roll around like mini Grendels. I'd let him roll up on my lap just to listen for his demonic purring, what are burn scars after thousands of executions, broken bones and existing like a shell of a human, deVoid of all emotions?

I love all my warframes, but Roathe is something really special to ME as a human who made it through living hell of a broken, ill, monstrous society and came back all scarred, scared and very angry. I'd cherish him no matter how infested he is.
