I know it’s common knowledge that writers and artists are hard on themselves, but in case any of you need to hear this today:

1. You are not wasting your time writing.

2. You are not terrible.

3. The comparisons you make to writers you think are better than you, I guarantee there are writers that do that to your writing.

4. You are INCREDIBLE. What you do is HARD and you continue to push through it.

5. Be nicer to yourself! You’re doing great.
