Rising Higher. with or without you. delicately, with no ill feelings. growing apart is inevitable. i’m becoming more okay with detachment. i welcome my truth(s). i’m in constant transition. nothing can or will stay the same, forever. there’s nothing i can do for you other than have compassion and accept you as you are. in whichever state you are in. i cannot promise you a forever thing or a commitment because i can hardly promise these things to myself. all i can do and say is, i’m here to honor your evolution— even when or if it becomes difficult, unfamiliar, and uncomfortable for you. i will still love you underneath the surface, but i can not obligate myself to stick around through any of your many phases. i have to keep up with this consistent cycle of attach/detach, stay/leave, rise/fall, love/hate, within ‘me’, in order to acknowledge and appreciate anything about who and what you are. but most importantly, i have to free my self, first.
