Trufax, there is at least 50% more MQF content in Cultivate because of Roxiu's art. It makes me happy so many people like my version of him, which is why he's gone from a minor character to a more major one. But whenever I think of Roxiu's art I can't help but want to add more scenes just because I am imagining them in Roxiu's style and it makes me laugh and push the scenes just a little more. So definitely thank the commenters for the friendships MQF has made, but more importantly, thank Roxiu that so many of them are funny. 😆

My art is supposed to be a cute quirky adjustment period for Liu Qingge and the dangerous blood geese (not official name of the animals :P ) Hes worried and on guard, but so is the mama birb :3 Hopefully they get along better soon xD

Also, I should give credit to a few other people for the outfit design because I had drawn Shen Yuan with my own interpretation of his outfit + a mix of what inspired me from other people's designs of him. Namely being @cherruni and @lanayrulian If you have not seen their art, then go check it out!

Such a beautiful scene! I love how there's this contrasting tranquility and tension which is so appropriate for that part of the story! And the details are just marvelous, like the (wonderfully stone-like) duckling savaging a flower and the way Shen Yuan just curls obliviously against Liu Qingge... I love it all so much. 🦋🦋🦋

Poor guy was worried about his friend and then had an ongoing crisis about the peach tree, that weird cultivator that's probably related to his prickly shixiong and is apparently a once in a generation talent at beast (and PLANT???) taming. And he didn't even get to see the mischievous dragon orchid before he had to leave!

I had this one in my drafts for a few days but I always forgot to post it, whoops. I actually wanted to draw something else but I take every chance to draw my magikarp fountains, and Mu Qingfang's little crisis while LiuShen are over there throwing dog food made me snort when I read it the first time :D

I have had days like Mu Qingfang, so my empathy is high enough to feel bad for how overwhelmed he is... but not bad enough for laughing at him too. 😆 Mu Qingfang wants to understand the world. This is his undoing. He should be a little more like Liu Qingge, who knows he won't understand all the world, so all he needs to do is accept it as it is. (And become powerful enough to afford not to understand.) 🤓

Which is... interestingly enough, the basic philosophy of the Magikarp! We have come full circle. Namaste. 🙏
