its still funny that this is the site where ppl love to pass mental illness diagnostic labels around to each other like tokens as some sort of bonding ritual but the second you so much as allude to anything actually inhibiting your functioning or being legitimately disabling in some way suddenly its 'omg you people cant do anything' screenshots all the way down

did you know that when disabilities disable people in a way you find cringe or unendearing or inconvenient you still have to treat them like people

They know what they like, which makes them hard to sway.

I struggle around this topic. I am not anti work. I mean, we all know that no one is anti work. The issue is, topics like worker's rights and what is acceptable. "At will contracts are mandatory" sounds like a contradiction.. but if someone is forced to do something, that is not "at will" yeah? So I don't have the answers here. I just don't know why jobs are not being more accommodating sometimes. A job is not supposed to be something horrible. You can work, and be happy about it. It doesn't have to be about manipulation.
