Your anon pointed this out but do you happen to know when Jeff mentioned this? I’m surprised if he’ll be on less considering Cain’s cancer had spread. But it’s not as if they’ve done much the last 6 months besides delay his surgery and be insecure about his dick and bladder. There’s not much story to tell (unless he’s dying and is making amends with everyone before he goes) and it’s probably better if his cancer is just in the background and something he’s dealing it.

Oh God I don’t want a December wedding ! And especially a Christmas one 😭😭😭😢😢 I DONT WANT IT ! I will take them signing papers on some cows feed or secret barn any month over a Christmas wedding.

I get it, I’d love for them to get married tomorrow if they could but I’m being realistic especially if the have them get married the day they had their first kiss, though that would be a friday so…unsure of that.

But I reckon it might be at christmas, Seb’s birthday is also a month before that so I could see the potential of having at least those back few months being something for them epecially with Liv’s (and Faith) death anniversary being a month before Seb’s birthday (Oct, Nov, Dec).

I always think about the accent they’ll give Seb when he (eventually) returns. I mean given that it’s emmerdale they’ll probably just inconsistantly give him the standard manc accent or even yorkshire (because why would they be accurate) HOWEVER I still often think about the show being a bit brave and giving Seb a scouse accent since he was raised in Liverpool or maybe the show giving him a Bristolian accent (West Country) since that is where he currently lives and it’s retconned.

Or better yet, they give Seb a scouse accent and they bring in aunt Angela with a Bristolian accent 😭

Cain had the Nate stuff until August, he was consistently onscreen last year until then and then was off for most of the back end of the year with at least three breaks of over three weeks. Some GA on Facebook thought he was even leaving the show because of this. And then got the cancer story this year which has been very focused but Jeff said recently he’s started filming less. Charity started this baby stuff around July last year and was on off the rest for the year, mostly having more screentime closer to Corriedale, but then up until April this year she hardly had any screen time, and now she has it again. That’s just my justification for how cyclical it has been for them, and why I do feel that Robron will also follow the pattern of being more onscreen in the autumn/winter.

Honestly, even if Danny doesn't go on vacation, I never thought they would have their own storyline. The only thing I'm sure of is that they'll get married before the end of the year. I don't think they'll do it next year.

Cain and Charity are having their big focussed stories start at the same time of year that they did last year for example.

I didn’t come back to the fandom until after Ryan returned. But didn’t Cain already have the Nate stuff going by this time last year then immediately went straight into cancer story earlier this year? As for Charity, her current story has been going on since last summer and that’s a looooong time and now there’s a new thing for her to deal with.

danny might not have even gone on holiday, he’s just bought a motorhome (cuz you can’t rent them). so maybe he’s just bought one for future holidays- that’s what my family did when we got one.

I mean they only film 6 weeks ahead, so stuff now will still be for July even. Last year Robron didn’t have focus til late August onwards, and whilst I get people being apprehensive I can’t write the whole year off yet because of when they actually got a storyline and stuff last year. As i feel emmerdale is very cyclical now. Cain and Charity are having their big focussed stories start at the same time of year that they did last year for example. Joe’s bigger stuff also has happened at similar times across the two years. So I like to think it will be the same for Robron too.

And I hope you are right.

At the moment I don’t see ANY good storylines for robron for the rest of the year - apart from a wedding, unless Serena throws a spanner in there and actually starts giving them that focus and stories.

They had also only kissed once this time last year too tbf. We got all our others much later in the year.

Last year was completely different though 😭

This time last year Robert had only been back on-screen for like a couple weeks and most of it was spent briefly back to prison right after their first kiss of that year amd they weren’t even back together.

We do still have the rest of the year but that also depends on how much time off the show keeps choosing to give them 😅

I’ve not been the one to complain about the lack of kissing this year (still won’t be an issue for me if we end up getting some) however if Robron are barely getting screentime now then I fear this may actually be the first ever year we’ll actively have robron on the show and not have a single kiss (apart from the blurry corriedale kiss we could barely see)

I actually think 2018 is a good comparison to this year for Robron, once they got back together they were for a while just supporting other stories (livs mainly) and didn’t have their own stuff really. They had the proposal in July, but we don’t know what they’ll have for July this year yet, and then they actually got stories at the back end of the year from when Rebecca went missing, to their wedding, to then losing Seb (all over the course of like August-December). Aaron/Danny also had quite a few breaks that year too.

Thing is though they still had family moment in 2018 even if they didn’t have major storylines. They had Liv and Seb, in fact 2018 was the year they had Seb living with them and talks of Aaron adopting him before Seb was taken at the end if the year(ish).

I just get the feeling robron’s wedding will end up being in december (if not longer than that) and if they are thinking of bringing Seb back I don’t think it’ll be till next year and after they’re married at this point

I mean he barely took any paternity last year after his kid was born so i do think this is kind of fair to have time off. But also Robron mostly have their big stuff in late August and autumn/winter across most of their years being on the show. Like I thought it was just last year but it’s also a thing across their whole time on the show.

Yeah that’s true about the paternity thing. Though 2015/2016/2017 all had big stuff throughout the whole of the year then in 2018 they had their reunion in early year, engagement middle year then wedding end of year then 2019 was mainly end of year in the build up to Robert/Ryan exit.
