i had a really good roommate interview yesterday. i didn’t intend to be actively looking for a new flatshare, but saw their offer and texted them bc i had been there before a year ago and really wanted to move in. back then they decided for someone else. so yeah, the room is extremely small and nothing special. the flatshare with four other girls sharing one bathroom. but a cozy living space and its girls around my age (all still a bit older than me). one of them, the oldest with 32, even remembered me from last year (the rest of the constellation had changed) and apparently really likes me.

should they want me — i will have to decide… do i want to give up my dream room and flat with two other roommates and two bathrooms, balcony and a garden. my birds and my hedgehog. but in an extremely hostile environment? where i am not allowed to use washing machine and oven anymore (lol)… its a shame

move in date would be october. i haven’t cancelled my contract here yet but would try to request moving out without the typical notice period due to special circumstances.

finished the barn work right before the eclipse. biked home during it. met my english friend. strolled around for three hours. laid in the park to spot shooting stars (i saw 5!). home now and we sleep.

#he’s from huddersfield so close to leeds #i met him when my bf and me were broken up last year #he just came from his interrail in scandinavia hiking and climbing mountains #like he literally has a helmet with him lol

uhm yeah i found out my bosses’ son is quitting his job at the law firm. he’s gonna be gone when i will have returned from the u.s.

#his claude showed me….#as a reason for his resignation he stated ‘too much pressure’#i mean yeah it must be horrible to work with your parents and be blamed all the time #kinda scared that i will be their new target then… more than already #also he obviously let claude generate the resignation letter
