Managed to finish one last beading commission too.

This is what I come up with when someone gives me an old amber necklace and says "I don't know, make something with it".

Expect cute flowers/leaves every time.

So... there might be some changes coming to this blog. I’m moving country and I’m not sure when I’ll find time to sew/visit new cons again.

I’m not happy about it either.

130 years old pattern, still works great in modern day!

I only made minimal alterations to the pattern. It was clearly made for a much shorter lady, so main things were moving the waist lower and lengthening the sleeves. Also added some lace on the cuffs. Other than that, it was almost like using a pattern fitted for me. Feels badass to wear 🙂 I also absolutely love the pleating on the back 💕

I love that Bruno interrupted his ascension to Heaven not once but twice, all just to give Giorno some words of support.

He may be dead but this will not stop him from worrying over the well-being of others first.

Maybe, some years later, late one night Don Giorno feels overwhelmed with responsibilities and old guilt over the loss of people that got him into the position he occupies now. And maybe it’s his imagination, but it’s almost like he feels a warmth not dissimilar to that of sun’s rays on his back, and he could swear that for one moment he can hear Bruno’s voice. “Giorno, it’s all right. You’re doing a great job. I believe in you.”

Because Bruno never stops watching over people he has chosen to protect or support.

So, how long did Giorno wait before telling his friends that Bruno had actually been dead for the past few days? How long did Mista have to fear that his bullets were ones to kill his friend and superior?

How all Bucci Gang members would describe meeting Bruno for the first time: “He appeared in my life almost like a guardian angel, when I was on my way to hitting rock bottom, helpless to change anything in the mess my life had become, and offered me a better life should I choose to follow. I have now sworn to dedicate my life to this man.”

How Giorno would describe meeting Bruno for the first time: “He climbed through my window, licked my face and began stripping in the middle of the street. I punched him in response and we’ve been BFFs ever since.”
