Fun facts about Eli:

These are all things I’ve come up with or thought about but didn’t have a place to include them. So I’m making a list of all of them (mostly to keep track of them but also entertainment)

Fun Eli Facts:

Eli was always supposed to have an unrequited first love. Originally I was gonna have it be Huey. The plan was that Eli would idealize Huey and view him as a sort of savior. It fit Huey’s personality but I wanted something more dramatic so I went with making his first love Rei and having neither of them ever confess their feelings.

Eli and the other swans don't call themselves yokai, none of the Dark Territory yokai do, instead they call themselves nahuals. A nahual is a an animal spirit or shapeshifter. They can be good or evil depending on their personality. I made this change to Eli's lore because it felt weird calling him a yokai (bro is not Japanese) but just to clarify a nahual is just what the Dark Territory yokai call themselves, they still follow all the other yokai rules.

Eli is in a family mariachi knows how to play many different instruments. First learning how the play violin, guitar, and vihuela. Later when he was in the Light Territory he learned how to play the piccolo. Apart from that he does know how to sing and is most known for his singing.

Eli likes reading shitty novels as a way to take a break from his translator job. His favorite ones are monster x human romance novels.

Milk and dairy products are expensive in the Dark Territory since it's expensive to keep cows and livestock. So Eli's favorite sweet treat growing up was milk with sugar and cinnamon.

Eli does not know how many cousins he actually has. Eli comes from a family that's already really big and whenever he doesn't know how someone is related to him, he'll just say they're his cousin.
