So, in this long long wait between seasons... (Justifiable if you ask me. Id rather something take longer and be good than rushed out and... Meh. Looking at you CP2077... Not blaming the Dev's though.) Side rant aside, in this long hiatus, my life has become solely DnD related. I DM two nights a week and while it work, the adventures of Vox Machina have become jam as of the past... Month? Im super excited for the cartoon and its just making ke want February so much more. Since i heard rumors volume 9 will begin in February. So between RWBY, Crit Role, and Destiny 2, February is gonna be lit.

I dunno what the point of this post is. I guess I needed to vent and just feel bad for talking my best friends ear off about this. Bless her heart. Not to mention i have a somewhat considerable following and it do fuck all with it. Sorry for always going dark, y'all.

Old oneshot rewrite. Mostly used as a writing exercise since I haven't written fan fic in about 3 or 4 years i think? So keep that in mind. Was also written on a phone. Because lazy. Enjoy?

"Yang?" Hearing the soft voice saying her name caused Yang to slowly open her eyes. She took in a deep breath as she rolled onto her back. Exhaling as she brought her hands to her face to rub her tired eyes. It was going to be another one of those nights. Yang turned her head. Seeing Blake laying next to her. Her head resting on her hands as she looked at Yang. A small look of concern written on her face. Yang turned he attention back to the ceiling. Another sleepless night. She's been having a lot of those lately. The blonde sat up. Swinging her legs over the side of her bed before leaning over and grabbing her scroll off the nightstand. At least a dozen missed calls and even more texts. "You know they're only worried about you. Especially after tonight." Blake said. Yang looked over her shoulder. Seeing Blake had followed her lead and sat up too. "Maybe send a message back? Let them know you're okay?"

Yang didn't want to hear it. She tossed her scroll back onto the nightstand before standing up. She walked over to the railing that overlooked the main living area of their apartment. The light from Remnant's shattered moon shining through the large windows in the living room. Illuminating the room well enough to see the mess left behind from the gathering earlier that night. Pizza box still open on the coffee table. "They only wanna be sure you're okay." Blake's voice came from behind her. The faunus walking over and leaning against the railing next to her. "This can't be easy." Yang set her jaw. Mulling over the words bouncing around in her head. She felt like she was going insane.

"You know, nobody thinks you're crazy." Blake said. Yang let out another deep breath after hearing the words. Making her way to the stairs and walking down from the loft, over into the kitchen. She opened the fridge. The light from it was blinding compared to the natural light in the room already. She reached an. Grabbing the carton of milk, taking a drink directly from it. "What have I told you about that?" Blake chastised her. A playful tone in her voice. She was now sitting on the countertop behind Yang. Her small smile fading when Yang ignored her again. She silently hopped off the counter. Walking up and pressing herself against the blonde. Her touch sending chills down Yang's spine. "I hate when you ignore me." She said softly.

Yang clenched her fists hearing Blake's words. She bit her quivering lip. "Why the hell wouldn't I?" She choked out. The cat like ears atop Blake's head flattening upon hearing Yang's words. She looked hurt. This only causing Yang's heart to hurt more. "It's been weeks, Blake. Weeks. And yet I still see you. Hear you. All the time. You're gone, but I can't get away from you." She had turned around to face Blake. Her voice was full of pain. Unable to hide her broken heart. Tears welling up in her eyes. She felt her legs weaken. Sliding down to the floor against the kitchen counter. She buried her face on her knees. Trying to fight back sobs. Her voice softened. Barely more than a whisper. "Just let me mourn you in peace."

Thinking of rewriting an old bumbleby one shot I wrote awhile back... Because depression? The hiatus is annihilating me.

Hey. Been awhile...

So I've been doing a series rewatch. And one line that Oz-cer has when he's chatting with Ruby in volume 5 got me thinking. He basically tells her that the Beacon relic is hidden a little better than the others.

What if it's buried in Summer's grave?

You know I have/had four theories about that and that was one of this because if Ruby and Cinder’s final fight was going to happen, Summer’s grave would be perfect. Especially if Ruby or Cinder used the relic before finding it and showed them the choose that would let them win the fight.

The other theories were, Pyrrha’s crown thing since it did turn to ash but shoot down when Jaune used it in her weapons I think and when she got to see the shape of it. Its hidden in a fallen kingdom where ever the story in the remnant fairy tales takes place. Or is actually in pieces and has to be put back together.

When it comes to Cinder.... I'm so tired of her. Like i can't even stand her as a villian anymore. She shoulda died back in Volume 5, frankly. And honestly, there are so many other villains now who can stir shit up. But no... We got Edge Queen On Ice....

Personally I agree. Cinder’s character just annoys and pisses me off and how she got away, or seemly got away, with everything during the last volume Makes me want her to lose everything every more. I mean, I hope Salem knows Cinder was lying but is only letting it pass because she got the relics just like how I am hoping that when Ruby and/or Neo come back in the, “I lived bitch” style It comes biting Cinder in the ass hard. 

My ideal ending for Cinder is she dies with nothing, as in Ruby silver eyes her to the point the grimm in her is killed and the fall maiden powers are transformed to Ruby *I say this because I believe the only reason she has the powers are because of the grimm and without in she would lose them.* and that Ruby leaves her weak unable to fight and broken but refuses to kill her. Even better if Cinder tries to get Emerald to help her but she leaves her to or neo comes and finishes her holding up her scroll to say something that truly shatters Cinder.

Cinder stealing all the power she has thinking she deserves it all only to lose it all to someone who is truly worthy of it.

Bonus points if after losing the maiden powers or is about to lose Salem turns her into full grimm hybrid like the hound so Cinder knows she was always a puppet and nothing more.

Im excited to see who else is gonna maiden powers. I still feel Yang is gonna end up with spring. Its set up too perfectly for it not to happen. And if it doesn't, well color me surprised. I just hope someone deserving of the fall maiden powers gets them. I can see Ruby getting them after Cinder gives up the ghost. Since Cinder seems to have an obssession with Ruby. And well... We all know how it works.

I love CRWBY but i am getting tired of this constant seperation and waiting entire volumes for the main characters to be together only to split up again and just living from Reunion to Reunion.

They should have found each other in THIS Episode. We should have gotten the Resolution to them thinking Yang died in THIS volume.

Blake seeing Yang after she "died" will have less of an impact in 9 months because the memory of her breakdown will no longer be fresh in our minds.

Oh and NOW JAUNE IS ALSO THERE

The main characters having 2 min screentime in the goddamn Finale before getting yeeted into the void with no resolution to that for the next 9 months is YIKES

Agreed. I love RWBY but these past two seasons have done team RWBY so DIRTY.

The scenes in which they actually ARE together are great!!

But there's not enough of them. Side characters keep hogging Important scenes and key-actions, RWBY splits up constantly, reunites, and gets seperated again. We now have to wait months for the emotional resolution of the death fake-out but even in wonderland we can't have JUST RWBY because now JAUNE is here as well. Whenever harriet showed up i was annoyed because she got multiple scenes of griefing a character that died a volume ago and now we legit have to fear getting cheated out of the follow up of our main girls realising Yang didn't die.

A simple reunion scene could have saved this finale for me but rwby is just not allowed to have screentime or lines in their own Show.

If they had just spent 2 min on their main cast finding each other again, something as simple as B clinging on Yang crying, and then them going "where are we?" at least that would have given us SOME peace but this Cliffhanger is garbage.

We legit know nothing. We cannot theorize because we have no Information. Every theory is just gna boil down to wonderland.

Maybe with luck, season 9 will be a bottle season. Where its just them on this Island or whatever? It'd be a lot smaller of a cast that way.
