Somehow, the Valkyrie is sober enough to hold Loki’s hair back for him.
Twitter icon image of Loki, since that’s my current stan. He looks suitably wretched.
I’m sure he deserved it.
Continuation of the “Big sis is late” comic.
I want to see Thor and Loki driving each other insane forever.
Big sis was late...
The finished Revengers comic. I started this wanting to set up a gag involving Thor, but he still hasn't made it to the stage so it's just Loki, Valkyrie and Bruce Banner and a friendly competition in the bar.
Whenever I get into a series it’s obligatory for me to figure out what World of Warcraft race/class the characters would be.
Tsukishima’s deadpan scowl really makes me think of a capybara. And Koito’s antennae make me think of... Devilman.
Trying to figure out Koito’s stupid face and his stupid hair. Unfortunately, porn is now banned on Tumblr since the obvious reason for me to get the hang of drawing Koito and Tsukishima is so I can draw them fucking.
I think it really has been this long since I drew fanart for any series other than One Piece. I haven’t stopped loving One Piece, but it would be awkward to post my trashy Golden Kamuy fanart on my One Piece blog.
I haven’t drawn much this year so I feel quite rusty, but after attempting to draw my beloved Sergeant Tsukishima (aka “No-nose”) today I discovered that I’ve only gotten slightly worse at drawing humanlike things since I was churning out endless TF2 fanart.
Trying (yet again) to sketch my beloved fatlock, Croesu. I felt a bit guilty for not bothering to do anything for the Horde Pride tags that were floating around Tumblr over the summer, given Cro’s reputation for being a gay porn star.
Sketching pigeons.
Agonizing over the future.
It’s a normal day.
Alas... my big pumpkin project for this year is no more, having been done in, fittingly enough, by the ravages of time. Little Sis was nice enough to take some photos of it last night, though, so at least we can remember it fondly. I'll have to try a traditional sculpture next year, as I wasn't happy with how the bas-relief turned out. Also, bonus photo of last year's pumpkin, which, as long as it stays dry, will never rot a day before Halloween.
Pariya’s impossible quest.
From the ongoing Otoyomegatari, a series which boasts beautiful artwork, historic slice-of-life dramedy, and lots of funny and endearing brides. Dice!
Oku Hiroya’s topical sci-fi drama Inuyashiki has focused heavily on our relationship with social media and the news (and on how Astroboy would live if he were a sad old man), but this is a whole new kind of surreal.
Marriage arrangements, from Mori Kaoru’s ongoing historic series about 19th century life in the near east, Otoyomegatari (”A Young Bride’s Tale”).
How can I say no to a light-hearted series that has episodes about embroidery and naan?
