william james moriarty will always be the calm and collected character among his group. he could pull the trigger without blinking an eye, stab a man right through their vital organs—watch them die an excruciating death, but he never faltered.

as if he's far from being human.

however, there were several incidents that proved such theory wrong. one of those incidents happened hours after he shared a passionate and steamy night with you.

every time he stakes his claim on you, he always make sure that you leave one of your things behind—preferably, something that would remind him of you.

that day, you left your stockings behind before scurrying away from the moriarty mansion. that very stockings were torn right in the crotch after he couldn't control his urge to have you.

he always keep your things in a box, secured by a lock with intricate design—a lock that only he has the key.

he just got home from the university when his brother, louis, asked him about a certain box he found in will's room. he asked him where he should put it, making will's scarlet pupils shake for a moment.

“louis, you have to listen to me. you didn't see anything, and you will not say a word about this to anyone,” he said with finality while smiling at his younger brother.

he should find a more hidden spot to keep his stash from anyone's eyes.

“i've never felt this pain before,” ei mumbled while staring at her fingers. “only two of my ten half-moons can be seen my fingers... what if... what if it meant something? what if it meant that i'm sick...?”

her wide eyes looked up at luca’s direction, his hands were carrying a mug of warm chocolate drink she loves.

luca placed the mug on the coffee table before sitting next to her, holding her hand. “listen, love...”

he pulled her hand and kissed her fingernails while looking at her shaken face. “no matter what happens, i will be by your side, you hear me?”

she pursed her lips as tears began to well in her eyes. luca's warm hand gently touched her cheek, his thumb wiping away the tears from her eyes.

“if you want it to get checked, i'll be right next to you—supporting you all the way. no matter what the doctor says.”

he pulled her closer to him, wrapping his arms around her as she nuzzled her face against his chest.

“i will stay with you until your nerves have calmed down. we can watch some movies or grab something to eat.” he whispered as he played her curls. “i could cook something too!”

“no! please.”

luca frowned. “i'm a great cook you know.”

remembering how he tried to cook something in the past, ei immediately shook her head before smiling at him.

“we can just cuddle and order something later.”

“something's telling me that you just don't want to eat the food that i make.”

she shook her head while resting her head against in chest. “it's all in your head, luca,” she jests.

after silence filled the room, she suddenly spoke with a hoarse voice.

“thank you for staying with me.” he placed his hand on her back, soothing her gently like a child. “i know that i could get overly dramatic, but you still chose to stay here with me.”

she looked up and met his gaze. “i'm glad that you comfortable enough around me that you can bare yourself like this. i can't tell what's running through your head, but i'd be glad to talk to you about what you feel.”

with that, you savor the comforting silence in your place—with the love of your life.

Finally! The time has come to launch Yanmari! I've been away from the fanfic writing scene for years and I couldn't express how I feel while writing this. Although I've somewhat built community in the past, I'd like to start fresh without using my works years ago as a stepping tool.
