CABO
Cabo san lucas! Wooh! First, note los cabos is the broad name representing the area encompassing both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. I visited cabo san lucas and it was a blast! Prior to going I found nothing online regarding cheap affordable travel within the city. Everything was hotel shuttle services or private taxis, NO UBER. Taxis run from $8-$12 (yes dollars!) There is a local bus that takes you from the airport to downtown Cabo San Lucas, an hour ride. The bus stop is right out in front of the airport and the route is “Ruta del Desierto”. This will take you to downtown for 80 pesos one way, first route of the day leaves at 6am and the bus comes every 20 mins or so. Also the local buses go all over the city for 12 pesos, no need for a taxi. If your looking for the best Mariscos in Cabo, I’d recommend 3 islas. It’s a small restaurant, shack feel, but the food is AMAZING! We did a boat tour around the famous Arco. It’s a small fishing boat, seats about 8 people, and takes you on a cruise around the main ocean attractions for 45 min. We paid 150 pesos per person. 250 per person is still okay, any higher than that, you’re being ripped off. No more tips, relax, take in the sun and enjoy Baja.
