Chris & Gal | Confrontations

It’s not long since the article went out that Chris’s phone begins to blow up, messages from friends, family and colleagues all a variety of “what the fuck” and “nice one bro” before he’s quickly googling his own name in confusion and seeing the spread of articles about their rumoured romance and her divorce from Yaron. He’s shoving his sneakers on after firing off a quick text asking if he can come by and not even considering waiting for a response, his emotions all over the place, anger, confusion and maybe a slight, dumb bit of hopefulness at their situation. He’s pulling over, his hat low as he jogs to her front door, knocking loudly.

 Gal’s hands shake when she saw the article about her, Chris and her not so secret divorce from Yaron. One side of her mind was focused on her divorce. Maybe the article will make Yaron give her a divorce and another side of her mind was so afraid that everyone will ask her questions and feel sorry for her. Then, she got a text from Chris telling that he’s coming to her house. Gal’s heart started to beat fast and she felt like it’s her fault that Chris got involved. Not long after the text, she heard loud knocks on her door. The brunette jumped from the couch and run to the door. “Hey...” She said as she opened the door.

Took them long enough, I’ve been arguing forever for a Black Widow film - She’s got such a cool history. How are you liking the 1980′s in this one your filming? Filmed? I’m not sure where you are on production.”

“Yes, I guess,” She said nodding while pressing her lips into a tight smile. “I love my film so much and it’s my first big role which was really scary and stressing to fill such big shoes after Linda but, I guess I did good.” She giggled “ People love me apperently.” She added. “Ugh, I can’t wait for the movie! Bet she’s going to be amazing!”

“Right, but the fact you guys look calm and collected does freak the rest of us childless people out.” He’s grinning, he’s said a million times in interviews that he’s ready to be a dad and wants to be one but truly, unless he manages to find a woman totally capable that can sort him out too then it’s not going to happen for a while. “Aw, Lizzie is brilliant and I was sad she went, hopefully she’ll be back. I don’t know if they will be which sucks.”

“That’s a true blessing honestly. Plus I wasn’t alone on this crazy ride so I was okay.” She said licking her lips and then smiling. She saw how Chris was around her daughters and know that one day he would be a great dad. “The girl power in this movie gave me chills. I love the whole storyline and characters!”

“People like you have been misleading me a while then, you seemed ready for kids.” He’s nudging her playfully, she seemed to be a natural mom, it blew his mind to think that she struggled at any point with her girls. He’s chuckling at her crying for an hour, he did the same too but he wasn’t going to admit that just yet. “It’s pretty heavy, were there tears because I survived the snappening?”

“You need to look okay. We don’t want anyone to freak out, right?” Gal replied. She remembered how freaked out she was when she was pregnant with Alma. She was younger and she didn’t know how it worked. “Don’t you dare to laugh! And no! They took Wanda! She’s my true love and they took her away from me! It was only a plus that Cap survived.”

I don’t think I’d go as far as saying evil genius but mean older brother for definite. It’s also funny to put shaving foam in places it shouldn’t be, like handbags… so long as there’s nothing it can damage inside.

“What, being terrified of fatherhood is cute to you?” He’s grinning, knowing full well what she meant but teasing her all the same. “No, it just looked like you were getting low on yours.” He’s giving her his most angelic smile, which for Chris is pretty hard to do. “You, obviously, though I’ve never met Yaron, he seems pretty nice too.” He’s debating her last question, frown on his face for a split second before he’s shrugging with his good shoulder. “Nothing, just coming down from filming Avengers. You?” 

‘Do you really think anyone really ready for kids? A big no. You might think that you’re ready but that’s not true.” The Israeli replied with a sense of teasing. But then when he mentioned Yaron she took her eyes off him and took a sip of her drink. “Yeah.” She said quickly “I saw the first movie and cried for a solid hour!”
