soon, very soon, I will be returning to this hellsite in full under a new name.... just y’all wait... I will post a link to the new blog once it’s up & running
so. mm. the part of me that wants to come back here wants to come back and start afresh. leave this blog up as an archive and make a new one; clean up a bit more and make sure i’m more established before putting myself out there. and while i think that this is a good idea, another part of me doesn’t want to come back. not with all the bullshit mental health i’ve had from being on here. idk. i’m just kinda....seeing what people think, i guess?
so uh, i guess this is am apology of sorts? because i realize there's still a few people on here whom i have not gotten into contact yet over disco about our threads, and for that, i am sorry. i have been feeling rather burned out on roleplaying at the moment, and i've also been somewhat distracted by halo: reach. i promise y'all that i WILL get you eventually but uh. yeah. sorry for makin u guys wait :/

Well stop right there! Because do I have the place for you! Sitting pretty in Discord is a server, created by a good friend of mine and run currently by me (she’s having some issues right now and trusted me to look after it for her), just for those sorts of people who belong to the Halo roleplay community, or who have a non-Halo character with a ’verse based in Halo.
Where is the link? you ask. Have no fear! If you would like to join us, just ask me, and I will shoot you an IM with a link to the server! Just remember, you MUST roleplay a character in Halo, a Halo OC, or your character that is not from Halo MUST have a Halo ’verse.
y’know, for awhile I considered coming back here....I’ve had that urge a couple times. sure, I haven’t been gone all that long, but when a place is familiar, it can be hard to stay away. but then I recalled how shitty things got for me in here, and how down I’ve been feeling for a long time ( and knowing that half of it is because of my being here ) and then I thought “you know what? there’s no point. way I see it, the community isn’t gonna change. at least not for awhile yet”.
so. I’m just going to keep lurking on here. but I thought I’d let y’all know my thoughts because I’m nice like that.
at this point I may just take all my threads to disco and all but remove my presence from here entirely. the rpc is just. so dead. the website is turning to shit.
and anyway if I did threads on disco, then I could do them on mobile, ‘cause I don’t trust the tinglr mobile app
y’know what? I think at this point, I might as well just go ahead and do this. because as one of my friends so rightly pointed out to me:
if it’s just giving you negatives then there’s no point in going on with it. RP with ur friends and have fun!!
because honestly? yeah. being here is really starting to degrade on my mental health. it’s better to have a safe space on disco to roleplay w/ my friends than to just stay on this hellsite and feel like my mental health is just constantly rotten because I feel as though I am not good enough to be here anymore ( or never was in the first place ).
so, to those whom I currently have threads going with: I will be contacting you shortly on disco to sort out server details & such. and to everyone else, I guess this is me signing off for the most part; from now on I will be lurking here on tingle only.
