Recently my mom had just gotten clean from years and years of drug abuse, heroin, pills, anything. She’s been clean for about 6-7 months while her junkie boyfriend was in jail(used to be her drug dealer), however everytime he got out of jail in previous attempts at getting clean she would relapse. He was verbally and physically abusive, controlling and an overall huge piece of shit no one liked him, he recently got out of jail last week and two days later he passed away from a heroin overdose. The day before he died he called my mom and asked her to come see him, if she went over there she would’ve been dead too. She told him she had a meeting to go to. I wrote a song about how I feel about it all
