A nonfiction fiction

Delaney, 15 years... woke up in her somewhat clean bedroom. She stepped out of her bed and opened her windows to the sound of birds. The birds were always singing and chirping at 5am. She thought of the great times back in 2014 where she loved life and spent a lot of her time at Peter Pan rehearsals. Delaney went to grab her school uniform as she reached to grab her white formal shirt she felt a moment of nostalgia, she did up the final button about to put her tie on and felt something wrong. She felt like she really belonged back in the junior uniform with the green and white stripes. But how would she get back in the time period? 2014. Delaney looked in the mirror as she was making sure her hair looked presentable for choir rehearsals. A tear went down her face. She would never be as happy as she was in year 8. As she had her last glance in the mirror she whispered "I'll always be the year eight delaney.
