Just call me Donny Osmand {event|Anemone}
Anemone cared little of the romantic affairs of others; to her, romance was currently something she wasn’t suited for. Could she use her charm and body to get whatever she wanted? Sure, that wasn’t beneath her. But actual romance? Oh, that was something she’d only considered in her dreams. A wonderful romance… If she could have that —
It would really be the best.
The lovey-dovey holiday that had swept the city made little impression upon Anemone, well, barring the increased amount of sweets to be sampled. She’d never been in a position where she could have a romantic relationship when she was a pawn of Dewey Novac’s, so such things had only crossed her mind as a fantasy. Yet, the holiday had caused her to realize that many things she was doing in this city were once also fantasies to her. It was… Perplexing.
But, Anemone was certain that copious amounts of discount chocolates could take her mind off of anything. Walking into yet another store to spend her money, the pilot browsed what was left of the on sale Valentine’s treats. She already had a few bags from other stores, but she had vowed to not leave a single store in the city untouched. However, a loud harping from outside the store suddenly distracted her from her noble quest. Walking out of the decorated entrance, the pilot peeked from the store’s corner to peer at the source of the voice.
Another one of this city’s weirdos, apparently.
"Hey, pothead, if you’re gonna yell at yourself, why don’t you do it somewhere else where you won’t bother me, okay?”
Oh, pig's tails.
He's been spotted.
It's a clash of joy and fear -- she saw him! But also. She saw him. Saw him acting like the biggest fool to ever have fooled before. Instinctively one hand rises to grab at his pot, fingers wrapped around the handle as if afraid it might fly off at any second.
"I..." He lowers his eyes, face burning.
"S-Sorry, Ma'am. I won't do nothin' no more t'bother ya..."
He starts to turn with shame, when the impulsive idiocy of his heart screams for him to turn back around and say something to her. He follows it, turning and opening his mouth, but by the time he's done so someone's already walked beside him and the tangle of feet send him shot forward and splat on his front right in front of the girl.
So smooth.
