The Boyz have terminated their contract with One Hundred over breach of trust and non-payment.

They've apparently been working for about a year with no payment, including non-payment of a previous settlement amount.

They plan to perform their planned April concert, so as to not disappoint fans -- which is frankly as bonkers as it is incredible, because they'll be paying for staff and rehearsal space out of their own pockets.

With the recent revelation from DKB that they haven't been paid in 6 years (presumably because the company charges "training fees", but there is no way they haven't made enough money for their company to be paid beyond royalties from their self produced songs) I'm hoping that this leads to more transparency and accountability from record companies regarding their contracts and treatment of their artists.

*Taemin, CBX, and GOT7 (and omega x, to a degree) have also been involved in this conversation, but I do hope that it starts a trend.
