Grace is mad and giving Simon the silent treatment; he's still in the same room, always is, but makes it a point to not say a word to him, even if he does occassionally respond to Rocky.

That is, until Simon - who hates being in silence, hates being ignored, hates being talked around like he's not there or not relevant - reaches the end of his rope and storms over. He slides his hand into Ryland's hair (not painfully tight, but a firm grip nonetheless) and tilts his head back so their eyes meet, glaring fiercely.

"I don't care if youre cussing me out while you do it, I don't care if you're screaming, insulting me, spitting at me, but fucking TALK TO ME! Just- Just keep talking to me, got it?"

He doesn't really realize that the glare has faded to be replaced by a sort of desperate grimace. Grace's scowl has faded too, a pinched little frown taking its place.

"...Got it."
