Teleporter - Summer Wine Brewery

This was a fantastically malty, rich and thick porter. This was one of the best beers I've had recently and was a perfect match for a spicy meaty supper!

Wincle - Butchered. This was a great nutty brown ale, just what was needed when the weather got a little cooler! :-)

Back home from my holiday, and this is my midweek treat! Blue Monkey's incredible Guerilla Stout. It's ridiculously tasty, a really thick malty stout with a decent amount of bitterness. One of my favourite stouts!

Brooklyn - Summer Ale

Tried this while I was in Newcastle yesterday, a great light and refreshing beer. Fairly hoppy, but not overly so, some citrus but mainly floral on the nose. Really deserving of its name as a summer ale!

Real Ale Heaven! 14 hand pumps at the Boathouse Pub in Wylam

Cracked open the Redwillow - Feckless One of my favourite beers from Stafford beer festival. A nice best bitter but with a bit more hops than usual and a slightly sweet, smokey aftertaste; lovely!

Wylam - Admiral Lord Collingwood

A great pale ale, it went really well with my curry tonight. The brewery is local to the area I'm staying on holiday.
