Someone vandalized her Robonoids by covering them with atrociously colored paint. “Just twelve more to go.” She muttered. “Did I mention I hate red?” She asked as she continued to rinse off her Robonoid.

“Do you want some help?” she chuckled, holding a scrub brush

“And you did. About seven times already.” she smiled, sitting beside a reddened robonoid and starting to scrub

“Its okay to be afraid Pearl. Everyone has fears, worries, concerns… But I want you to know that I don’t want to do anything to hurt you. And If I ever do, that I don’t mean to.” she pulled Pearl closer, and wrapped her wings around them, trying to comfort Pearl.

She looks up seeing the beautiful wings surround her, she felt so calm and warm. Only one other person has been able to make her feel like this, “I just wish… I could be strong,” she breaks down again. She turns around to look at Angel, and holds her hand, “you couldn’t do anything to hurt me, it’s impossible….”

“Well I think you’re strong. There are different types of strength… You’re strong because you can show kindness even with a broken heart. Thats hard to do.” she cupped pearl’s cheek with her hand, a kind smile on her face.

Her eyes looked up into angel’s. She leaned her head against her head against the soft warm hand. “You are truly amazing angel… You are too good of a gem to go through the things you went through….” She squeezed her hand tightly, “and you are too kind to me… You show so much love, just like someone I knew.” Another tear rolled down her cheek.

“Well… There are some things that need to be given love… Little treasures. You’re one of those little treasures. You have shown me so much kindness and love even though we only met not long ago.” she pulled pearl in and held her close

Why… why does this beautiful gem make Pearl feel so special? Everyday she hides how she feels like nothing but a useless gem, especially after the Garnet epidemic, “A Treasure huh? haha You really know how to make people feel special don’t you.” Pearl leans over and hugs angel tightly, giving love to her, showing how much she appreciates her being here. She whispers, “Thank you..”

“Pearl. There are different types of strength. I was a leader not because of physical strength, but my mind. I value knowlage and feelings more than power. Physical strength means nothing if there is no heart or stratagy behind it. A diamond or another quartz could attempt to win my heart and fail every time, because they all lack what you have.” she spread her wings

“You think I’m actually strong?” Looking up seeing the beautiful gem in her full glory.

“Yes Pearl, I do.” she put a soft hand on her shoulder and smiled. “I want you to do what you want to do. not what homeworld tought you. If you want to love me, or be close to me, then I want you to without reservations.”
