Let me be a petty PETTY girl for a second🫶 small rant/ soft artist callout below

Tumblr twitter user bio-requiem9 alt. bio_requem 9 is using AI and wants you to believe they aren’t.

To populate fanart tags with AI slop and pull attention from real artists and authors is such lame-o dork behavior.

So here’s evidence of AI

Exhibit A: contagious tattoos

Why would a tattoo spread to two people? Also note that despite some variance in line width (provided by ai) when the “artist” in question provides the color, they don’t follow the contours of the lips.

Exhibits B-D: Tangents and unfinished lines

If this were beginner work, the line quality and the composition would be more or less on par with each other. However, you can see here that the AI is only approximating values and line work while smudging and creating double lines to simulate hand-drawing (poorly)

Exhibit E: the coloring and inconsistency

The soft brush with like 40-50% opacity to simulate (what I’m assuming is) blood is crazy inconsistent for an artist that is claiming to showcase near photorealism with value and hatching work is insane

Exhibit F: The response

This is not a natural way of speaking in the slightest.

You may say, “Cozy this person is IDing as chilean, english may not be their first language.” To which I say, spanish is my first language too, and this is noooooot natural in spanish even through a translating app verbatim

Maybe you’re thinking, “Cozy, how could an artist PROVE they drew something without a timelapse? Asking for proof isn’t easy.”

To which I’d say: Time stamps. Screen recordings. Metadata. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

(just for fun) Dimitrescu Sister Headcanons: Barbie Dolls Bela: Her Barbies are *pristine*, either mint in box or very carefully displayed and dressed. Cassandra: Her Barbies are played with, sometimes a bit roughly. Have a favorite in nice condition that 'inherits' the clothes of the others. Daniela: Ever see Barbie heads garlic-braided by the hair? Now you have.

No no, the Kens are devoid of clothing, possibly missing limbs, and trapped in the handcrafted, Barbie pink dungeon....... which is in the actual castle dungeon.
