Omg, I know!!! I can't stop thinking about them no matter how hard I try, and my brain keeps trying to come up with new AUs to imagine and making up AMVs in my head. XD

Psych/Shassie groundhog day AU.

I can't decide if I want Shawn stuck in the same day over and over again or Lassiter, but it's an interesting concept either way.

I love AUs where Shawn and Lassiter get together over the course of the show instead of them getting together with Juliet and Marlowe, but I also honestly love the idea of 'they just never got the timing right' mutual pining 'not actually unrequited they're just both idiots' Shassie where things more or less go the same way as they do in the canon show. Like they both fall in love with each other, but there's always something in the way or some reason why it doesn't work, but they can never fully get over each other even when they're with someone else despite convincing themselves that the other doesn't have and never had real feelings for them.

And then I love to imagine an AU where instead of the Psych movies, Lassiter and Marlowe wind up separating/divorcing after the events of the show and Juliet and Shawn break up and eventually Lassiter and Shawn find their way back to each other and only then actually get together.

just thinking about how lassiter always calls shawn "spencer" but when he got kidnapped was calling him "shawn". so you're telling me the term of endearment is a conscious choice and when he's worried about him and not thinking he uses his real name? ok.
