Opening the curtains, you stare outside to the large mansion diagonally opposite from your home. Sometimes it reminded you of old times, the time where everything seemed to go the good way. But having even slight turns of events forced you to face the same closed blue curtains every single day. The only change that went unnoticeable only if you wouldn’t be standing in your shoes would be the creamy butter-white coloured candles that are placed on the space between the curtains and the glass. At times they’d be lit up, sometimes almost used up and from time to time they’d be replaced by new ones.

You can remember the times you were in that room, taking in the aroma that you can only look at now. It’s funny how fast time goes by, but all the treasured memories still printed deeply into your mind. The times you two were inseperable.
