The first thing that had gone through Kakyoin’s mind as the lights suddenly shut off was to not let panic overtake him. Apparently, most of the people attending the festival didn’t think the same thing. Quietly, he found a seat, still chewing on the candied apple he’d bought to keep his mind off the darkness and the screaming crowds. Just a power outage. It’ll all be over soon. It’s all ok—ah, he thought he heard a strange howl. And another.
"…Hah." Perhaps the atmosphere was influencing his hearing. Yeah, that was most likely it. Pay no mind to the fact that the howling grew louder, to the point of drowning out the cries of the people. He had steeled himself, willing to sit through the noise. He’d remain calm, until all sound vanished, leaving nothing but the cool chill of autumn air and the chirping of crickets.
Quickly, he called forth Hierophant Green, sending it out to scout the immediate area. There had to be someone out there in the stillness. He couldn’t have ended up all alone, right? Except, somehow, he couldn’t sense anyone else. Anyone other than a figure that was now quickly running in the direction towards the city. Fearing being alone, he quickly gave chase towards the other, dropping his half-eaten apple. A pause. Better take one of the lanterns, he’d rather not be fumbling through the dark.
Running out, he couldn’t see more than three meters ahead of him, all he could rely on for direction was the coil Hierophant Green left for him to follow. Soon after, he finally approached the lone person, a woman, hearing as she called out to him.
"…Are you alone?" The first thing he thought to ask, was there someone he’d missed? Still, he saw that she was shaken by the entire thing, it was best he calmed her. "It’s alright, I’m not here to harm you. …My name is Noriaki Kakyoin."
There were very few things that Ahri actually feared. For the most part, she was fairly brave and courageous. She had never been in this type of situation, however. The growling and the whispering was all something that she was unfamiliar with. With the way that people were blowing it out of proportion; it didn't even seem like a power outage but perhaps something much more malicious. Either way, she was terrified.
Even if it turned out to be something as simple as a blackout, the inhumane gnarls were something far beyond a typical animal. She would become incapable of sleep if there was some sort of sinister being in the city and that was the assumption that she was leaning towards.
"Yes, I'm alone." A relieved exhale follows as he seeks to reassure her.
She was curious as to why he reached out to her, but she was never one to protest. Ahri wouldn't complain if he decided to keep her company--she definitely needed someone or something to keep her mind off of the panic.
"Ahri." She found it rather hard to force a smile in this type of predicament; the same expression of dismay still visible on her features. "...Is there something that you need?"

What was meant to be a night full of fun was already starting to take a dark turn. Although she was rather reluctant at first, Ahri decided that she would be attending the festival. She was looking for something that could ease her mind and make her feel more at peace. This would be just that.
It was only a few minutes ago when every light that illuminated the beautiful city eventually flickered off and painted the once lively park in an eerie darkness. It didn't take very long for the festive souls to comprehend what had happened just moments ago. The sudden caliginosity sent the crowd into a panicked rage. An unsteady sigh escapes from the fox; seemingly calm in this situation but perhaps on the verge of panic, as well.
There was a sound─a growl. It seemed as if no one else had heard it, but with all of the screaming, Ahri wasn't all that surprised. At first, she paid no mind to the tone.
It could have been anything.
ʙᴜᴛ ɪᴛ ɢʀᴇᴡ ʟᴏᴜᴅᴇʀ ᴀɴᴅ ʟᴏᴜᴅᴇʀ ʟᴏᴜᴅᴇʀ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ sɪʟᴇɴᴄᴇ─ ᴅᴇᴀᴅ sɪʟᴇɴᴄᴇ.
Everything came to a sudden halt─the screaming, the crying. Her heart throbbing by now. She was pleading for someone to say something─any type of noise would be just fine. It felt so surreal; like some kind of horror movie. She wasn't quite sure where she was going to go but she just needed to get away from the scene. If she said she was scared, it would be a huge understatement.
She didn't even take the time to pick up one of the lanterns that faintly illuminated the park─she just ran. For right now, her home would more than likely be the safest place. She clearly didn't think it through─as soon as she left the park, she was shrouded in the dark. She would never be able to find her way like this.
A sudden voice just so happened to catch her attention. Whether or not the voice was directed towards her was completely unknown. Ahri was still slightly jumpy from before so she made sure to treat this situation with caution.
"...Hello?" She calls; her voice quivering.
weeaboo phase (is your muse broken yet?)
There was always that one thing that she didn’t want to remember.. A time of stupidity and naivety. It was probably the most painful time in her life;
Her weeaboo phase.
She watched nothing but anime for three whole months. She tried to cosplay but each time it only ended in tears and Japanese was just too hard to pick up. She remembers fangirling over her ships and crying over well-written fanfiction.
It was so painful to think about, she wanted to cringe.
“Oh god…”
Make my muse emotionally broken.
Examples: Prove them wrong about their religion, make them reflect on their life, lie to them, etc.

Demonstrandu - Ahri
Her eyes turned to him and Kcalb felt a tingle of regret coil its ugly self around his throat, restricting his vocabulary. If he spoke now, nothing would come out and he’d look like someone without vocal chords who didn’t know how to do anything more than stare off into the distance and act like a statue. Grabbing both sides of his cape, he shrugged his shoulders enough to disrupt the feathers and nudge them forward, pulling each end closer so it would cover a majority of his body. There were a few positives here, such as her being willing to help and kind, but there was so much uncertainty too.
The whites of his eyes returned and he angled his head down low enough so the feathers around his collar would cover his mouth. He was a grown ass man, he could ask for some help for fuck’s sake.
”…As I said, I recently found myself here by accident and currently have no means of returning home… U-until that’s amended, I was wondering if… If you’d possibly help me fit in more.” She probably thought he was crazy for asking a stranger this. That’s how Kcalb saw it. “Everyone’s unfamiliar and it’s doing me no good. I don’t mean fit in physically-” Though that would be nice too, he didn’t feel like dying his hair or cutting his poor horns off. “… It’s difficult to explain.”
Looking over at the male; Ahri was rather confused upon his request. Since she was also new here, she wasn't quite sure on what he was asking. As far as she was aware of; she was never belittled due to her differences but maybe that was because it was a normal thing in Runeterra. With all of the Darkin and Voidborn; she had no room to be critiqued.
Honestly, she didn't see why it was such a big deal to him--but to each their own.
She stood in silence for a few seconds before she finally spoke up. ”Aah?” Cocking her head slightly, she continued.
”I'm sort of new here, myself.”
She kind of felt bad for not being able to help him, a notable frown appearing on her face. Surely she could make it up to him, right?
"Although, if you'd like--I can try my best." She smiled.

「Are you sure? Really, it isn’t any trouble at all!」Adachi provided a sheepish chuckle as he habitually reached for the nape of his neck. He felt a pressure in his chest and the air escape his lungs for a moment that felt more akin to a month. She seemed sweet. Not to mention if it could be one thing that he’d fall hard for, it was a graceful smile that radiated the aura of kindness. Even so, each smile adorned by said standards on a charming woman turned out to be his own delusion.
This, of course, was still not at his fault. It was always theirs. The facade, the disappointment, the anger. It was all on them.
But this one. This one would be different. When she eventually and inevitably turns out to be like all the rest, he’ll set his sights on the next girl. She’ll be the one to rip the threads and set herself apart from the rest. For now, however, he’d set his pessimistic views aside and keep his current goal in mind, which was getting to know this girl.
「Aa, you think so? Eheh, really, it’s nothing special..—」A grin erupted from features birthed from embarrassment. Rubbing his neck gently before letting his arm fall once more, his visage was overtaken with an innocent surprise. 「Oh, you moved here recently, too? Looks like we’re both newcomers to this city!」
A silent sigh escapes; her attempts at shoving back the strange feeling of regret was futile. Maybe it was this man? Instead of looking back on her actions; she pushed the blame onto someone else. Maybe if she decided to spare him; the feeling would fade. She didn't want to be the killer. If anything, she wanted to be the hero. She just wished that people would understand her situation.
Put themselves in her shoes.
It was her dream to be human; that's all she wanted. Her dream had already came true--so why was she feeling like this?
Why?
Stay positive; she reminded herself constantly.
'This is what I wanted.'
'I asked for this.'
She tried to just shake it off; most of the time it worked but for the first time in a long time; she was having trouble. Golden hues now focused back on the man.
”Yep!” A rather forced laughter follows. ”Do you like it so far?”

☞ Annie because Annie is my precious violent daughter and I love her
Another day just meant another fight was won. A maniacal laughter echoes, they were no match for her. In the enemy base stood a small girl who harbored too much joy for such a little victory. Could she help it, though? Annie was happy; winning was kind of her schtick. Beside her stands a large, blazing bear—her loyal companion, Tibbers.
With the inseparable bond they held, the two were invincible together. Green hues beaming over at the large animal. The laughter had came to a rest leaving the arena in an eerie silence. There were no words exchanged; there needn’t be any. A smile, not the same crooked, malicious smile as before, but a genuine smile found it’s way onto the girls face.
Perhaps she didn’t show it very much but she was always grateful towards him. Annie didn’t have that many people that she could go to—no family nor friends.
She was thankful for him and her share of gratitude was long overdue.
She tried her utmost best to bring her pet into a hug but the size difference between the two just made it look silly but it’s not like that even mattered to the girl.
”Thank you, Tibbers!”
Correction;
Beside her stood a large, blazing bear—her best friend, Tibbers.
