Richie Tozier's Live-in Slut: Richie comes out on twitter. Two days later Eddie shows up, carrying two large suitcases, announcing that he’s left Myra and he lives with Richie now. A week later, the state goes into lockdown.
I've been alone with you inside my mind: Richie Tozier is Eddie's favourite comedian. Of course he'd get a ticket to see Richie's show when he comes to New York. Alternatively: they can't remember, but they still find each other.
Domestic Affairs: Myra Kaspbrak worked part time. She only came in on Monday, Wednesday and in the afternoon on Thursday. That was because Myra’s husband was sick. (Eddie and Myra's marriage and divorce as seen through the eyes of Myra's colleague.)
Catholic Girls Start Much Too Late: Twenty-one year old Eddie Kaspbrak knows something is wrong with him. He's knows he isn't like other men. He's not big and he's not strong. He can't grow a beard and he's never kissed a girl. When he catches sight of Richie Tozier on TV, he knows Richie is everything he wants to be. Confusing attraction for admiration, Eddie boards a plane to LA intent on finding Richie. His plan? To learn how to be a man just like Richie.
the one less traveled: Richie's car breaks down, stranding him in the middle of the forest. Luckily, he isn't alone for too long.
Or - the strange coincidence of two men running away from their lives and finding each other instead.
