Final presentation.
Holiday in Senegal, 21:30, but we are still working.
Presenting the result of 4 weeks of work.
Busy Friday at the Hotel, only 2 days to deliver our main deliverable.
Visit to IBM Senegal.
Visiting one more community with youth groups that work with Plan International. They will be the final users of the platform we are designing.
Visit to UrbaSen (NGO), they are partners with Plan International. Papa Keitha is the NGO coordinator and they work with cartography data, using drones to map Dakar.
Visit to the district Diamaguene Sicap Mbao. We talked to the youth groups from that district and it is becoming more and more clear that the problems all the groups face are similar.
Today our team visited an institution that helps children living in the streets. It is called Empire des enfants. For various reasons, these kids left their houses and now sleep on this small institution. It was so simple to visit them and they were so happy to have us there.
Because we had finalize the scope of work document today, we chose to work from the hotel the whole day.
Weekly meeting with the whole CSC group
Meeting with the youth group from Medina Gounass, a very poor community in Dakar.
One might feel hopeless by finding so many issues that won’t be solved shortly, but one find joy with what can be done.
I’m in love with the CSC program!
