soohye has always been known as a hard working, quiet person. she is very diligent with her studies, always making sure to stay within that top twenty boundary grades-wise. her goal to become a fashion designer has been something she decided on a long time ago, so by now its a well known fact. her outfits are also always on-point so. .. . .. sunhwa fashion goddess. as for her personality, she’s known to be a reserved person, and prefers conversations with a few people rather than many. she doesn’t shy away from it though - its simply inconvenient to her. but she’s polite and keeps good relations with most because 1. mama raised no animal 2. its easier to stay out of petty highschool drama this way, and soohye has definitely had her fair share. other than her coming out as transgender in her second year, which in a conservative school like this some people might not like, soohye has given the gossip hungry public very little 2 dislike...... but hey dont let that stop u. make as much gossip about her as you want, but soohye literally does not care to address it. she got better things to do.
( FAMILY BACKGROUND )
both her mother and father come from non-descript old money families, so yes i’m here for cousin plots!!!!!!!!!!!!!
her mother is currently the editor-in-chief of vogue korea: not necessarily your regular rich bitch gig, made more peculiar by the fact that her mother wears the title of boss with pride. she’s got an attitude, not one that most people would expect from a ~high class lady~ and is certainly not willing to be stepped down on. hence why she and her husband eventually divorced, because she made no attempt to fit into his conservative ideals
her father is a board member of a misc. chaebol group. a very conservative man, and this clashed a lot with his ex-wife’s personality, who certainly didn’t like being told what to do. they parted mutually and somewhat amicably, and no longer talk. he’s sensible enough to not carry any resent over it, and remarried soon after the divorce.

Or something of the like. Soohye is totally goal-orientated, and leaves little wiggle room. So while she does entertain all her highschool friendships, inevitably, she knows they’re worth only as much as they can offer to her. She makes no time for people or things that don’t serve any purpose to her. She works incredibly hard to get the grades she does, and lowkey highkey hates it when people get things they don’t deserve without working for it, be it grades or money or fame. She’s an honest person, but by the very fact that she’s in Baekho proves she’s willing to use dishonest methods if there’s no other option.

her initiation was meant to go as smoothly as anyone else’s would, but when she came out there was a lot of talk between the sunbaes about whether or not she’d be moved from the cr initiates to the bh initiate pool. but since soohye had the legal documents to say “fuk u im a girl” they either had to move her or drop her entirely. the fact that she was dating a baekho sunbae (secretly tho) at the time gave her the extra sway she needed. make no mistake, she had the skills and personality to make it in, on top of that being a legacy, but that can be easily forgotten in the midst of gossip. initiation was awkward and painful (like it should be) but shes put all of that behind her now. all thats left is to make the new initiates lives hell.

she never questioned that as a legacy she’d be enrolled in one of the elite houses. of course while everyone wanted to talk about which one she would get into last year, soohye has never questioned that she’d hold a position in one. they’re a natural part of the school hierarchy, and its not a source of arrogance for her. she is however, extremely harsh with initiates. she believes in weeding out the weak ones, and in order to do so, she’ll make them go through hell and back, even after the initial ‘hell week’ is over. while her pledge sister is going to get the worst of it, if she sees any other initiates, even cr initiates, acting out, she won’t hesitate to discipline them. be warned: she is not above publicly humiliating the pledges.

GAY!!!! GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! well, only like, 80%, but she’s so inexperienced with boys and has never had one seriously pursue her, so she doesnt take the option of dating a boy seriously. but anyone that does date her should be warned: she knows highschool relationships are temporary and is more likely to treat you like a friend-with-benefits rather than a full fledged date mate. she only ever has one thing on her mind, and that’s her future.
she doesn’t hide the fact that she’s bisexual- its just not that well known. the one serious relationship she was in was kept a secret because the other girl was not out of the closet, and they broke up at the end of second year anyway. however theres no such thing as a secret in sunhwa, so if you do suspect, all you have to do is go up to her and ask, and she’ll reply with a shrug that, yes, she is bi.
she knows some of the elite house members dont approve of her. she doesn’t care about that, because gracious young lady that she is, her loyalty extends to ALL of the elite house members. unless you’ve gone out of your way to hurt her reputation (or her, if ur muse is wild), she doesn’t care enough about putting a rift between everyone.
