When I was younger, my mind was always inexplicably dark and melancholic because I couldn’t stand myself. I craved visual beauty, and looking at beautiful art was a way of healing myself. Design, architecture, art, etc - all of these beautiful things lit up my eyes, mind and soul. This has always been true: art heals me, revives me and keeps me alive. 

Art gives me a motivation to persevere.
