「 iN! EVENT #2 : SCAVENGER HUNT 」

Hello idolNETIZENS!

In lieu of our September mini-pairing event, we are launching the IDOLNET SCAVENGER HUNT.

RULES:

The point of the event is to have fun while interacting with each other, and not to see who can write 1.5k words a reply. Your replies can be as short or as long as you want, and so can your thread, just don’t forget to have fun while doing so!

Pairings will be randomly generated through a pairing generator.

All starters must be tagged with #in;event:02 so that the events team will be able to check on the threads, and know which members are full on participating in the hunt.

The event will run for a month (four weeks). Each week you and your partner are required to generate one finished thread where, as a pair, you will be searching for things based on a list that will be provided by the events team. Main items are going to be described in abstract terms (e.g. ‘Something red that flies’, ‘Something sweet and hard’, etc.), and it’s up to the pairing to interpret the clue. As long as the item they bring back fits the description, there are no wrong answers. The judging team reserve the right to add bonus points for creativity.

Implementation, objectives and the event storyline is found under the cut. If you want to participate, make sure to reblog this post by the 6th of September (Sunday), 11:59 PM KST.

The pairing list will be released on the 9th of September (Wednesday), and the actual event starts on the 15th (Tuesday).

All who gathered around the table, exchanged laughs and jokes. Hyemin and the ex-EXO member just finished a short segment of the radio show. “I’m sorry my Chinese isn’t as what it used to be…” She pulled off the oversize headset from her head, laughing. “That’s because, I hardly know the language.” Chuckling she stood up from her chair, passing bows to the cast. She surly enjoyed her time being on air. “I guess that’s a wrap, shide?” She smiled, pleased with memory. “Ganxie ni! Whoo whoo!” Sharing claps along the room, she gathered her paper coffee cup and purse, making her way out to the exit door. Just then as her hand touched the sliver doorknob, a loud screech came from her lips causing her to drop the cup filled with coffee. “Oh my god!” She fled away, standing behind Kris with her arm pointing out to the direction. “Ew, there’s a cockroach!”

Her throat wheezed, shaking her head with her eyes squeezed closed. “It was on the side of the door and I almost touch it…” Her jaw drop, hearing her own words in shock. “I almost touched it!”

It had been awhile since he’d ventured to a radio show, skills a bit rusty but still decent enough to carry on a good show. Granted some might disagree with his ‘dad jokes’ being a good thing. Everyone had laughed without seeming too forced or embarrassed, he was satisfied with that. There was always next time to do better, read: time to prepare even more awesome jokes and anecdotes. After giving bows and smiles all around, words of congratulations passed amongst everyone, he started to gather up his things, snapback carefully adjusted on his head as he walked towards the door, silently scrolling through weibo and his messages for things that were missed the past few hours. His attention was pulled away by the commotion, still not quite sure what was actually going on other than shrieking and spilled coffee now on the floor. The moment the word ‘cockroach’ registered in his ears....it was all over. A yelp, more of a scream that he'd never admit to, slipped past his lips and he sprinted to the other side of the room to hop onto a chair. It was the best form of protection. Obviously. “Where is it?! Where’d it go? Is it still in here? Oh God...how are we going to get out. We’re doomed. Tell my mother I love her....”
