To those of you who I currently have plots with, can you like this post so I know you still want to continue our thread. Because I have so many inactive ones that I don't know which ones to reply...
Thank you ♡
░ letter to friendship ░ sunny, yiseul
Sunny’s grin widens greatly at the mention of Yiseul enjoying musicals, and at her favourites, she nods quickly with excitement. “I love Into The Woods!” She blurts. She had seen a local youth production of it once and fallen in love, going home and spending the next few days as a youngster watching and re-watching larger performances of the brilliant musical. “I’m a sucker for the classic movie ones too; Julie Andrew’s in Mary Poppins… you wouldn’t believe the amount of times I made my parents watch Grease with me as a child.” She muses, giggling quietly.
When Yiseul asks the golden question, the one she always hears whenever she mentions her love, she, as always, turns shy, nervously rubbing the back of her neck. “I’ve been in a fair few myself; never anything big, though, obviously. All local and small-time theatres, of course.”
"Oh yes, those are just as good! Ah, Grease is a classic, so is Mary Poppins, but you gotta admit, The Sound of Music is the absolute best! I can watch it for days and I won't ever complaint!" Yiseul gushes, bouncing up and down on the chair excitedly. Now that they've found out of their similar interest, they are really bonding. It's great!
She snaps her fingers at the other's response, "I knew it, you just give off that vibe. I don't know how to describe it, I think it's the way you hold yourself when you sing in front of people?" She shrugs, then clapping her hands together and stared at Sunny with a newfound admiration. "But wow, I'd love to watch your performance one day. Be sure to invite me next time!" She smiles.
░ pop, fizz, clink! ░ artemis, yiseul
The girl gave a quick smile to her friend. Artemis took a while to get through the crowd. If she remembered correctly, the donation was either along the wall or hidden somewhere near the entrance. For someone of her height and possibly a few inches in her heels, it was very difficult to spot places without jumping. She decided to stick close to the walls just in case she managed to bump into the table. As she strolled along, she spotted a table that had the donation sign right next to it.
A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she opened the check in her hand. One million won check was still safe in her clutches. The brunette walks towards the table and was greeted by the managing stand. She gave them a bright smile and a hello before taking an envelope. Folding the check, Artemis stuck it inside and sealed with the tap they had on the table. “Thank you for your donation,” they said to her, as she stuck the check in the box. She offered another smile then left. She could see cocktail shrimps being served. One of her all-time favorites to snack on.
Now back into the crowd, she couldn’t see where she was going. The designer stared around. Now how in the world could she find her table again? Artemis glanced around and looked for a girl with a yellow dress. There were a few, but she eyed carefully. She was close and yet not to far from the stage. The girl thought she must have came from the middle of the tables.
Before letting herself go crazy over the cocktail sauced shrimp, Yiseul was reminded of the etiquette; she waited for those that were of her senior to pick up the forks first, since she was one of the younger ones at the table. After having their first bite, almost everyone responded favorably to the appetizer dish. Yiseul smiled on smugly. E-Land would never let their guests to eat anything less than five-star.
She devoured the plate swiftly, it was as tasteful as she remembered from days ago when the chef let her to have some sample of tonight's menu. And this only made her more excited for the main course. Everyone was going to love it, she was sure. Glancing around the room, she spotted a girl in one of the kind gown maneuvering her way between tables, looking quite lost. Artemis must had forgotten where she was sitting. Raising her arm high and waving her hand, she hoped it'd get the other girl's attention. "Artemis!" She called, but her soft voice was drown in the sound of utensils clinking against plates and people chatting. Finally, she stood up. Surely, the bright and loud hue of her dress could catch the designer's eyes. "Over here!"
❤1,500 kyseul LA was a lot of fun. Met up with some old friends.
░ letter to friendship ░ sunny, yiseul
Sunny smiles widely, “I did too,” she admits. At first she had worried about the letter, but now she felt a lot better about the embarrassment of being too shy to approach the girl. When the older girls insists for her to relax, she does a little, slouching more in her seat and finishing off her cupcake.
Her next question catches her by surprise. She liked her voice? Sunny would kill to have a voice as powerful as Yiseul’s. Yiseul usually got the more prominent parts in choir, whereas she would get the odd line here and there and backing harmonies. Yiseul was a star. “Always.” She nods, “My father taught me. We used to sing all the time. I learnt from him and then started to move into musicals and my voice really developed then.” She plays with the wrapper, thin fingers nervously folding it and taking it apart. “Musicals demand a lot of high notes and before I started, I couldn’t sing whilst moving, so I had to fix that pretty fast.” She laughs softly, blushing. She was shy, opening up like this on their first meeting, but it also felt natural, as if they were meant to be friends, and at that, Sunny continues to smile.
From the way Sunny so fondly talks about her father, Yiseul could guess the two were fairly close, bringing a small smile to her lips, thinking of her own father. It is true there is minor friction between them, causing them to drift apart, but her admiration for the man hardly lessen. "Ah, I always enjoy a good musical! My favorite would have to be Into The Woods, or The Cats. Actually, there are too many I can't decide!" She says enthusiastically, happy there's something in common between them. Although singing is merely a hobby for Yiseul, she holds a great appreciation for the craft nonetheless, so it feels great when someone shares the same sentiment.
"Have you ever been in any production?" She won't be surprised if Sunny in fact has. The girl seems to have a lot of experiences for performing. "

░ the a team ░ chris, yiseul
Chris sat in his usual position, feet pushed up against the convenient metal bar that was placed underneath his desk, leaning his chair back slightly, hands cradling the back of his head as he relaxed back and paid no mind to the professor who was attempting to teach the class. Normally he didn’t listen at all, his earphones would be stuck in his ears and he’d listen to music loud enough for the entire class to hear it. Which they should, he’s heard they’re interpretation of music and it was ridiculously boring. They needed a little hard rock in their lives.
"Running a business is one of the most exciting things you could do with your lives." The professor blatantly lied to his students, causing Chris to snort loudly.
"Is that so? Then why did you give up your business to teach?" The boy interrupted, raising his eyebrows at the suddenly flustered professor. "Oh! That’s right. Your company went bankrupt. Hmm… yet you’re teaching us the right way to manage a business." Chris clicked his tongue against his teeth, waiting for what the teachers reaction would be. Much to his disappointment, he was ignored. Not even a "see me after class" or "get out of my classroom"… what a waste.
"We’ll be splitting into pairs. The project is building and managing your own imaginary businesses. Chris. You’ll be with Yiseul. Don’t cause her too much trouble." Chris raised his upper lip at the professor then turned to the girl who was now approaching him.
“Christian, right? I’m Yiseul. Looks like we’ll be partners.” The girl’s tone was very dry, as if she’d rather be someplace else, anyplace else but right there in front of him.
"Looks like it. Don’t be too upset about pairing with me. I’l make it so it’s like I’m not even here." He gave her a smile that looked about as sweet as honey mixed in a blender with a lemon; the seeds, skin and all.
Taking the seat next to him, Yiseul tried not to roll her eyes, instead pressing her lips into a thin line as she smiled back. "Great, that's all I'm asking for. You just sit here and look pretty while I handle everything. Don't worry, you will get your credit." Normally she was all about teamwork, but based on her observation, she had a feeling that wasn't the case for Chris. Although it meant double workload, she honestly didn't mind, she wasn't going to let some simpleton ruin her perfect grades in this class.
An idea was immediately formed in her head the moment professor announced the project. "Our imaginary company is a fashion retailer since that's what I'm more familiar with and I have all the resources we'd need, hope you don't mind." Not that he had a say in anything and she doubted he was even listening, but she filled him in anyway.
As she was typing the rough draft, she thought of something. "There's no need for us to have an additional meeting too, I'll email you everything you need to know for the presentation." Sliding her phone to him, she said, "Give me your email. The one you actually check."
tiffany backstage @ SMTOWN live in Seoul
Seeing her arms open only made Bona dash over to her and throw her arm around her, wiggling about in pure excitement before pulling back. “Ah, no need to thank me! Today is your day, I just need to make sure it’s extra special, it is my job.” Although Bona let out a chuckle at her explanation, at the same time she was also a bit sad that it was only until that she was reminded of her birthday by a cashier of all people. Yiseul was probably one of the kindest people she ever met and felt like her birthday she have been more of a spectacle.
"At least his gift to you was delicious, though I would have grilled them for those slices of cake they have display over there…" She eyed the desserts, most likely planning to buy one for herself one of these days. "But I also got you something too, I wanted something with emeaning and all that-" The young girl cut herself off while slowly pulling out the small wrapped box out from behind her. “Ta-da!” Finally, she displayed it on her hands for Yiseul to see, then began to nudge her hand with it. “Go on! Open it, I’ll even hold your drink if you need help.”
Yiseul grabbed the drink from the counter when the barista yelled her name out. Taking a sip of the iced latte, she smiled, feeling the cold and sweet liquid on her tongue. "You are right, it is a delicious gift." She liked how optimistic Bona always was. It was one of the many traits that made the younger girl so likable.
Hearing what she said next, Yiseul's brown orbs enlarged. "Oh, Bona, you shouldn't have--" She flailed her hands around, refusing to accept a gift from her junior. "Your sweet thought is enough." But seeing her eager expression, Yiseul thought about how much heart Bona must had put in it and finally handed her drink to Bona hesitantly. Holding the small box in her hands, she carefully unwrapped it. "Oh wow!" She let out, taking the item out and stared at it with a grin. "It's lovely!" She marveled while touching the gem stone embedded on the necklace. Looking up, she was genuinely touched at how thoughtful Bona was. Putting an arm around her, she said, "Thank you so much, sweetie!"
「words of encouragement // minah & yiseul」
To say that Minah was delighted by her reply was an understatement. She made sure to follow close beside her with a smile so big that if it had spread out any more it would probably heart her cheeks. “Ah, don’t say that! I might just cling by your side until you decide to leave. Then people will be disappointed that they didn’t get to spend time with you. If course, I’d be victorious, but we need to think of the people. Deep inside, my conscious is telling me that this is the moral thing to do.” While her tone had remained completely serious, the fact that she was threatening to let out a laugh while attempting to stay tight-lipped completely betrayed her act.
After going towards the south of the large area, they finally reached where all the delicious was being made; lucky enough, there were towo options. ” She tilted her head in question, while playing her chin in between her index finger and thumb. “So, I think we may be faced with a tough choice here, buffet for unlimited delicious food or the restaurant for contained delicious food. I think I might just need a second opinion.” She grinned looking over to the petite female next to her.
"Stop, you make me sound too immaculate. We don't want my ego to get any bigger, do we?" Yiseul said jokingly, a corner of her mouth curled up playfully. Turning back to the front, her jaw dropped slightly when she saw what was ahead of them. It had been a while since she attended a Jeguk event, she forgot how flippant this could be. Two dining options? Hell freaking yeah.
Mirroring Minah's action, long slender finger tapped her chin as she debated the choices they had. A dilemma indeed. "Well, I don't know about you, but the prospect of stuffing ourselves till our dresses can longer hold us sound pretty tempting...so, buffet?" Thinking about all the delicacies, Yiseul licked her lips. She ate so little before coming to here, so as a matter of fact, she was starving.
Yiseul: I know that when Bona eats with us, she won’t have any opportunities to pick what food she gets to eat (cos she’s the youngest). I know that she loves bread so I went to buy chocolate bread for her. But it would still be taken away from her in the end.

See you Seoul! Going to a place full of sunshine & good food!
░ letter to friendship ░ sunny, yiseul
Sunny smiles widely as the other looks up and her eyes widen to her. She remembers me! Sunny suddenly feels a little warmer. It’s quite a surprise that someone as popular and someone as busy as Yiseul would even remember her face, let alone her name, and she’s flattered. She even blushes a little, “that’s me.” She’s quite honoured to be sitting opposite the lovely girl, in all honesty. She’s nothing special, yet Yiseul had taken the time out of her schedule to meet her here. She’s still rather flabbergasted any of this is even happening, despite her letter wishing to be friends.
To her surprise, the atmosphere isn’t uncomfortable or awkward. Yiseul seems to jump straight into a conversation with her and Sunny is beyond grateful for that. She’s a talker, but she always finds it daunting to start the conversation in situations like this.
"My letter…" She laughs, embarrassed. Cute? Sweet? Her handwriting is pretty? She hates her handwriting, but at least she’s not the only one. “Thank you.” She mumbles, “your handwriting is beautiful!” She insists, “I can read it perfectly. Thank you for writing back to me. I didn’t expect that at all.”
"I had fun. Writing the letter, I mean." Yiseul responds earnestly. She still doesn't quite understand why Soonkyu is afraid of talking to her in the first place. Is she that unapproachable? Yiseul never had trouble making friends anywhere, regardless of their different interests and statuses. And never once in her lifetime, had someone used the word "intimidating" to describe her, but she knows better than anyone else that her background has more or less to do with it. Even now, the girl appeared to be uneasy. Something needs to be done about this, Yiseul doesn't like it when others can't be comfortable around her.
"Relax, I don't bite!" She chortles, "Not unless you are into that kind of stuff, but even so, I don't bite." Taking a sip of the ice coffee, she places the drink on the table and leans her body forward. "You have a really nice singing voice, have you always been into singing?" The compliment is a genuine one. From what she's heard during choir practices, Soonkyu's voice was feminine and soft, unlike hers. For that, she was actually quite envious of the other girl.
Yiseul being a bad unnie.
