You saw that? || Lon'qu and Olivia
"H- how am I supposed to see how well you’re doing if I don’t look?" Lon’qu said hesitantly, realising again how friendly he was being towards her, he started to regret getting into this, he’d told himself before, not to get close to any women.. thoughts of his past started cropping up and he looked away, clenching his teeth.
He then turned back, not quite looking at her, but enough to be able to see how well she did, his face was back to his usual cold and distant demeanour. She struck the dummy, her movement was swift, but not swift enough, she turned to him asking how she did.
"It was not a bad couple of strikes, should it have been a normal unit your strikes would’ve been fine, an armoured unit, not so much, I would suggest cutting about, here, or, here." he said in a very aloof fashion, showing with the dummy which sections would be less protected, with his hand movements showing where to slice.
"However, you’re return from your attack needs to be a lot faster, in real battle you must be in and out of the fray as quickly as possible" he said bluntly, looking away from her and sighing to himself.
"I-It's complicated.." Olivia muttered before looking back at the dummy she slashed, her movement wasn't too quick since she was being watched so once she made her attack she started to slow down. "I'm sorry, though." She knew it was important, but it's different when it's on a battlefield and inside a training tent, well it was different to her.
She nodded at his explanation, knowing she needed to be quicker and swifter with her returns, "Yes, I'll do my best with it, and.. I promise I'll get it better." Olivia held the blade on her side, ready to strike again at the dummy before he mentioned her return again.
"Let me try it again, please?" She went over the movements he showed her again as she turned to him, "Er, you can watch this time, I'll do my best not to get flustered."
