Nowi the Explorer | [Lon'qu]
The sun beams shining into the tent woke her up. Nowi rubbed the sleep from her eyes and yawned loudly. Judging by how bright the sun was, she had probably woken up well past midday.
“Awww, I missed breakfast AGAIN! No yummy fruit for Nowi today….” she said with disappointment.
“Wait, I almost forgot that today is an important day! Today I am playing Explorer! Explorers have no time to waste!”
Nowi began to rush around getting dressed and packing her bag.
“M’kay, so I will definitely need this journal and maybe my coloured pencils. How about this thingy Miriel gave me? What was it called again? A magnificent glass or maybe it was a magnifying glass? No wait, I remember! She definitely called it a magnifizer glass!”
Running straight to the mess hall and she managed to convince someone to give her some lunch. If all arguments failed, then crying usually did the trick. Quickly gulping down two of the sandwiches, she stuffed the rest into her bag. She was ready to go!
Exploring sure is hard work, Nowi decided. She had chosen to spend the day in the forest not too far from the camp; However after having tramped through it for barely half an hour, her legs had already started to hurt.
“I’m certain! I mean, c’mon Nowi pull yourself together, this tree doesn’t look anything like the one before. Yeah, definitely no resemblance……. *sniff*. I’m lost aren’t I? If I can’t get out I will have to live here all alone! Waaaaaaaaaaah! I don’t wanna spend the rest of my life like some hermit in this smelly forest!”, she said plonking herself down under a large pine and beginning to sob.
