NONE OF THESE FANFICS BELONG TO ME, this is more of a personal reading list of fanfics I follow and such, all the links lead you to the creators' direct blogs.

Almost all the fanfics in the 'platonic' section are with Neglected!Reader, I'm addicted to that trope.

More than one link will lead you to the authors' master list instead of a masterlist for the series. I always get questioned about why I didn't " come out" to people about being aroace or childfree.

Basically it's because your nosy ass doesn't need to know about MY life or business 😂

What I am, will not change and does not affect anyone else, so I never felt the need to tell other people something that only affects me. I just have never seen the point of me PERSONALLY coming out, I know what I am, what I identify with and I'm ok with it, and that's all I need.

Not to say I'm not happy for those who are out, or are in the closet, everyone is different, this is just me personally ☺️

I find it so funny, when I'm talking to people and I drop something big in a conversation, like

" Yeah I'm still single, don't want anything either " or equivalent to saying I'm aromantic

Or

" nah I don't want kids" or anything saying I'm childfree

Or

" Don't like sex, don't want it, don't like it." Or anything also saying I'm asexual as well.

Everyone is always like, "oh I didn't know that about you, blah blah blah, you'll change your mind blah blah blah, you just haven't met someone!!"

There is a very good reason you didn't know, because I didn't tell you. You don't need to know ANYTHING about me, what I decide to do is none of your business, me being aroace AND childfree is NONE of your concern.

You just saying " you'll change your mind" is why I'll never tell you anything, because you think you're ENTITLED to telling me I'm wrong, or I'm selfish or that I'll change my mind, but I'm not, and I won't.

I have been like this since I was 5 years old, you saying something to me in our conversation won't change what I have spent 14 years thinking about.

But as I was saying, it's the funniest when people realize I'm not following what society dictates as 'normal' and they get mad, or try to change my mind 😂😂

Asexuals are part of the LGBT+ community in my books. They deserve as much respect as the rest of us, all humans deserve some form of respect. (Unless you’re a bad guy, then you’re up for debate) but the point here is that you are just as valid as the rest of us.
