Haven’t posted in a while because I was logged out and it’s really hard to maintain my social media o)-< Anyway I’m doing inktober again this year~ I wanted to do a few coffee cup drawings this time around.

This is the first time I've ever brought this up - you might be surprised to know (or not), but I exhibited selective mutism as a kid. That means I was perfectly capable of speaking to family at home, but at school I wasn't able to talk, and we'll never know why.  I was 4 years old but I remember it very well. I didn't know the term back then, or that it is an actual disorder.  No one thought it was a big deal since I got better by the time I was 6. But I think this gives some insight on why I'm the way I am now. I'm normally quiet. If I'm in a situation where I'm expected to talk (like a party or calling strangers), I might get lowkey anxiety even if I'm unaware of it.  It may have paved the way for my poor self-confidence, inability to socialize, and my introverted nature. I'm not afraid to admit who I was and I've worked to improve all this time.

Anyways it got me thinking that this could make a good foundation for a comic/zine if I have the dedication some day to draw it.~  xD

Hourly comic day doodles but I couldn’t do every hour;

I just realized I never shared this here. Anyway it was a little doodle video that I made for viewing at my wedding some months back. I’m kind of sad I rushed at making the entire thing since the day was coming too soon and I didn’t ask for any help (I would have liked to enhance it with After Effects like those Honeyworks videos). But when I look at it in all its crudeness I still think it is an accurate representation of us and the memories we made together so far, even if they’re mostly normal things. I do wanna remake it to be better someday and hopefully turn it into a little book.

Day 24 - 31!

I did all 31 days of Inktober. I had some days where I wish my drawing turned out better or more creative in the time that I gave myself, but regardless, I’m happy I could put even a little time each day to draw something again. c:
