"Oh..." Yoshino looked down. If she told Haruka where she was actually from, would she be afraid of her? If she told her she wasn't from this world... "I-I'm... From around town, I guess." She hated lying, but...

"Kurumi, you say that… but you hurt people too, and I’m sure you’re scared of dying too." Yoshino stared at her. “Of course, I’ll say the same about… myself… I’m scared of painful things, but I try not to hurt people." She suddenly had an idea. If she could befriend Kurumi, maybe she could help...

Yoshino sighed in relief, satisfied by Kurumi's reply. It only occured to her a few seconds later that what she had asked could have been interpreted as something that she didn't mean, and despite herself, her cheeks grew a little red with embarrassment. Well, surely, it was nothing like that. She glanced at Yoshinon out of the corner of her eye, and felt immediately better. If Kurumi tried anything, Yoshinon would help her out of it.</p>

"U-Um..." Yoshino looked around the town's boundaries, noticing the shops ahead. "S-Shopping, maybe?" She asked, peeking at Kurumi shyly. This was probably the first time Yoshino had made the first move to make a friend.

Yoshino walked ahead, a little bounce in her step. She hummed happily as she walked.

Her stomach growling, Yoshino headed towards the nearest noodle shop, her cheeks flaming with embarrassment. She hoped nobody could hear its growling over Yoshinon, talking to her about what he wanted to eat… but while he was talking, she was only getting hungrier.

Yoshino looked at Ruan shyly, and shook her head with a faint rosy colour blooming onto her cheeks. She didn't need to inconvenience this man when he was sitting here first... Just her luck.

Yoshinon, her puppet, spoke by himself, without Yoshino moving the slightest bit. "No, that's alright, we don't need to take your seat just like that~"

Yoshino sighed in relief. Everybody she had met so far had been very nice to her, and she was grateful for her. Utau seemed to be the same way. She found herself lowering Yoshinon the tiniest bit, not depending on him as much for a brief amount of moments. "S-So..."

Yoshino, startled by the commotion behind her, looked over her shoulder just as a strange man grabbed the back of her hoodie. She was known as a kind person, unless she was scared or in danger. She preferred not to fight… But… Huh? She couldn’t activate her Spirit powers. Could it...

Yoshino watched Jin beat up the man, and hugged Yoshinon closer to her as she watched. Eventually, she closed her eyes, unable to watch anymore. Yoshino wasn't fond of scary things, and was even less fond of people hurting each other.

When Jin leaned down to her level, she peeked at him shyly from behind Yoshinon. Yoshinon, her rabbit puppet, spoke for her because she was too shy to speak for herself. "We're unharmed, thank you for helping us!~"

Kurumi seemed calm enough now, even though she knew how Kurumi acted once she was in Spirit form. Out of the corner of her eye, Yoshinon nodded at her. She mentally nodded back. She'd be okay if Yoshinon was there with her.

"K-Kurumi, would you like to do something with me?"

"Hai!" Yoshino bobbed her head up and down enthusiastically. “Harumi-chan- …Can I call you that?" Yoshino asked timidly. Yoshino always had a little bit of shyness while diving into things.

Harumi nodded cheerfully at the girl. She was cute, and didn’t seem like much of a handful at all. Spending time with her would be considered well-spent.

"Of course you can! Say, Yoshino-chan, what kind of rides do you like most at an amusement park?"

Yoshino thought of Harumi's question carefully, putting a finger to her lips in thought. She'd been to an amusement park with her friend Shido once, but she wasn't sure that the amusement park they were going to was a water park like the one she'd been at before. "I've never been to one before!" She said, smiling. "I've been to a water park once, though."
