Meowdy, my name is Yoshi! I'm a queer adult who likes to write lots of Reader-Insert.
I take writing requests, please check out my rules. PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE SENDING ANY REQUEST!!!
This blog practices "don't like, don't read", and may post about dead dove content, including asks + dead dove games. If you want my content to be censored due to these topics, please don't interact or follow.
Fanart/fanfics based off of my works are encouraged and adored, just please mention me so I can come and see 👀💖
My 'main' fandoms are Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Persona, TriStamp, and Danganronpa, IDV, however I'm into a LOT of different series. (With new ones coming in constantly...)
Some of my old Tumblr writings can be found on my AO3 account, yoshinori, alongside the rest of my usual catalog of SFW and not so SFW works!
I have several selfships and OCxcanon ships for various fandoms that I might talk about sometimes, and I do draw sometimes!
Usually I tag posts with 'yoshi xxxxx', such as 'yoshi draws' or 'yoshi writes'.
FYI: I am against the censorship of fiction, but do acknowledge that some of it can be very harmful, such as RPF. Please do not expect me to ever write, or even get into the fandom of, a show that has real life actors. I only like animated things. I also hate all shipping discourse, and if you do too, this is a safe place for you. Personally, I'm too old to care about any labels like that.
Anyways, I'll update this when necessary, thank you for reading.
In your opinion, for which of the survivors and hunters would cheating not be the end of a relationship (at least for a while)?
Probably only those with such low self-value that they'll forgive you... But, that's only if they don't kill you for daring to cheat in the first place!
•
•
In example, you may think Andrew would forgive you for cheating because of his eager to please nature... But he has a shovel and an empty spot for you in the woods outside the cemetery, as he no longer believes you worthy of a grave within.
Anyone else willing to overlook it will quickly begin to resent you, like Victor, who tells you it's fine, but please... Don't ever do it again? And yet, even if you promise you won't, he can never trust you with his heart... Till, eventually, after bottling it in for so long, he vanishes in the middle of the night, with only a letter explaining how much he loathes you left on the table for you to read in the morning.
The average reaction though, is probably something like Norton, who laughs when you confess it all to him. Laughs at himself for ever believing any of your 'love', and then you for thinking he'd be the type to "forgive and forget". Norton won't forgive, but he will forget you once you're trapped down in an old abandoned mine with no hope of escape...
He wants you to feel as lost as he now does after finally allowing someone to love him, only to be left wandering aimlessly all alone once more. That type of hatred is what most of the men feel after learning of such a betrayal, you know?
And for the hunters? You don't even get a chance to explain yourself. They're either leaving you immediately or killing you, for most it's probably both... Very few of them have any grace for that. (Seriously though, so many of the IDV men are pretty cool with polyamory stuff, so why cheat at all?)
Norton would just think we left him...? Come on man, that's so tragic that I burst out into tears 💧 what if there was signs of a struggle or something? Maybe some blood around the house? Would he know something was amiss then and go looking for us? 🙏
Of course! Norton is very intelligent, he'd be able to figure out that the scene left there isn't any mere accident. You must've been taken against your will, and put up a fight too.
After that, he'd surely report the case to the authorities, and if they end up being no help, then Norton himself will go searching for you. Even if it means quitting his job, selling the house, and travelling all across the country- even other continents, he wants to find you no matter what. Dead or alive, he needs to see you again.
So, he won't be able to move on...
He only gives up when his body does, so until then, he's going to keep looking.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on how Norton's relationship with a reader would develop if the reader had also struggled to survive and experienced life's hardships, but became a selfish and distrustful person because of it. The reader believes that investing money, gifts, affection, or any other acts of care into someone else is a terrible deal and would rather spend everything on themselves. They're capable of loving and want to be loved, but it's difficult for them to let go of those principles
It would stonewall pretty quickly.
Norton isn't good at relationships, so he needs someone who will be understanding and open and help him adjust to that in turn. So, to meet someone like himself, selfish and distrustful... I don't see it working out at all. He'd probably fight and bicker with you and then resent you because of that, even if he doesn't really mean it, he knows that being around you is making him feel worse, not better.
The most grace he will give you is breaking things off quickly, and then moving to a different mining town so you won't have to see him again. Say what you want about Norton Campbell, but when it comes to a relationship, he at least knows what a bad one looks like.
He can't help you let go of those principles because he can't let go of his own without guidance, so your relationship wouldn't be able to develop at all past a certain point. He's stubborn, you're stubborn, and there's no wiggle room for a man who would sooner drop dead than admit he wants to be loved.
You need a different man than him, and that's all the advice he can give you.
How would finsen be like with a y/n with lots of little siblings?
Utterly delighted. As he's an only child, he never got to experience what having any younger siblings is like... So he's very happy if you bring him to visit your family back home and you have lots of siblings to show off to him! They'd like him a lot too, he's really good with children, but be careful, your siblings are going to steal Finsen away from you if he stays there too long...
But at least that means he'll be accepted into the family right away once you're married, right? How sweet!
He's very understanding of it, unsurprisingly... All he does is hold his hand to his chin in thought, ask "...mine?" and when you nod, he nods in return and hugs you close. It's his way of comforting you, because he knows you may need it, as pregnancy can cause many hormone imbalances.
Though, to be honest, Aesop knows next to nothing about pregnancy and children, aside from how to treat their bodies when they're being embalmed. So, just maybe don't expect Aesop to fully be an expert right away; all he knows is the mere basics. He will fully admit to that too, which is both reassuring, and a bit worrying.
The good news is that he can learn, the bad news, he may learn too much and become a bit too clinical... Remind that man that he's the father and he'll do his best to remember that, and treat you not as any type of study, but as his partner.
How would Norton, Naib, Jose, and Edgar react to the Reader suddenly disappearing without a trace? How long would it take them to realize that searching is pointless and move on? Would they even be able to do that?
I reread some true crime stories, and this idea suddenly popped into my head.
Well someone is in the mood for a bit of angst... Back in those times though, it was actually a lot easier for people to go missing without being kidnapped or stolen, you know? So, it's kinda hard to know when someone intentionally left, versus when they were taken...

Norton would think you left him. No contact style. Of course someone like you wouldn't want to stay with a poor man like him, he knew it was all way too good to be true... So, truly, he doesn't look for you at all thanks to that assumption. Even when people ask where you went, he just says "Somewhere far from here..." And people take that at face value. You simply moved away.
He'd never be able to really move on from losing you, though. Norton finally had something good in his life, and of course he fucked that up too by being a poor man who will stay poor. Truly, he doesn't blame you for leaving at all. Anywhere is better than staying with him.
Naib realizes pretty quick that you're missing. The second he returns home and you aren't there to greet him, he immediately searched the entire apartment to make sure you haven't fallen unconscious, then he does a sweep of the street, then a sweep of the town, asking anyone and everyone for your whereabouts. It's useless though, no one has seen you all day, and no one knows where you went, either.
Unlike most, Naib would never really stop looking for you. He's a skilled mercenary, and he can use his jobs to look for you in other places, so it's a win-win. The only thing that truly stops him is... that he goes to the manor and doesn't come back out of it.
Jose doesn't even realize that you're missing the night it happens. It isn't fully his fault, he came home drunk and passed out on the couch right away. What he does know is that he wakes up with a really bad hangover, and you're not there to fret over him, or even scold him for drinking too much again. Now that's when he gets concerned and actually sobers up!
...unfortunately, he isn't able to find you even after asking around town all day, and (wrongfully) assumes that you finally had enough of him and left him once and for all. He's a drunkard who drinks away his pain and sorrows almost every night, even when you used to beg him not to, even when you warned him that you wouldn't always be there to help him, yet he still kept at it... Like a fool, and your loss is proof of that.
Yet he's back to drinking away his pain within a week, but the thoughts of you never really leave, he can at least forget for a little while that he's chased away everyone who ever loved him.
Edgar notices right away that you aren't there to bother him with your presence in the background, but he just assumes that you found something else to entertain yourself for the day, and doesn't bother looking. It isn't until that night, when he comes to bed and that it's empty that he truly can tell something is amiss. So, he looks around the house, then around the street (which is quite a shock to anyone who looks out their window), before returning home and convincing himself that you will be back in the morning...
He doesn't sleep at all that night. Waiting for you to come back, like his mind told him you would. And when you don't? He immediately reports you as missing and demands a full scale investigation and search of the house, the streets, the entire damn city, until you're located. Edgar knows you, you're utterly obsessed with him, you wouldn't leave him willingly, especially without a note or something explaining where you went. Which means you were kidnapped, and he is going to find you no matter what.
So, needless to say, he never gives up searching, and he never moves on.
Modern AU/SRE Richard whos reader is his biggest supporter and sponsor because they're some sort of famous influencer or maybe a model??
Well, it's only to be expected that someone of his standing gets with someone who is also just as popular... It's good for the press, good for views, and all he has to do is pop in on your videos and photos every now and then to show your rapport to the adoring fans.
Now, does that mean he actually loves you? Who knows with that guy, but at least he does support you, so that's basically halfway there. Right?
What do you think Joseph likes about Timid y/n [ Slow burn? ]
That you listen to him immediately, never question his authority, and are completely obedient. Your nature is perfect for a maid, hell he might just employ you to be his maid if you don't have any other work! Especially in the manor, did you know they don't have personal maids for everyone? He thinks that's ridiculous, especially for someone of his standing!
So, having you around is a blessing of sorts. He almost favors you, in his own odd way.
Oh my god yoshi the new frederick skin… good lord the way he looks and moves you can see why all of the women left their husbands for him great heavens.
Any chance we can get your thoughts on him? I personally love the idea of him being an incubus honestly- so fitting… 🤤
My monster AU tierlist... I had Frederick as a siren who disguises himself as an incubus, and I still think that works here!
Either way, you're getting lured in by his beauty, you know?
Anyway, I do wonder how those without partners reacted when Uaithne came by and swooped every woman away, causing them to reject their partners... It would probably a confusing event... So I think Reader finding him to question him on why he would ruin so many happy couples could be interesting!
Which idv characters would want to keep you in their lap as much as possible?
Pretty much all of them. Aside from a few like Andrew, who would be pretty flustered at having you in his lap, the rest all see it as a comfort thing. Keeping you close and secure and safe right by them. So don't squirm to much and enjoy being held!
Orpheus reaction to reader pregnant with his biological bebe-
He's a bit caught off guard... Not that he didn't expect anything to happen as a result of well, you know, but he also didn't expect for him to be fully capable of having a child, if that makes sense... Will his drug experimentations and such, he almost expected himself to be infertile. Does that make sense?
Though he does his best to remain calm and support you, offering words of comfort, he's actually pretty panicked inside... A child in this world? And having him as a father? Don't they deserve better than that? Especially when he's got the manor and everything to deal with, you can't stay around him.
So I think, for your own safety, he'd move you away somewhere and have you stay there, thought thankfully he does visit very often, you and I both know that eventually... Orpheus will stop coming home.
Nortcest x Reader any ideas you'd like to share? 👀
All I got in my head is Angel Reader being dragged down to hell thanks to Goetia working as a honeypot for Infernal Sin... But that's probably a bit too perverted to divulge into just yet...
Whoa,, hello to all the freaky asks being responded to rn. Mood….
I neeeeeeed Richard Sterling so bad,,,…,,..,.. these are the effects of untreated mental illness (/hj)………………….. I fear I would let him do (almost) anything to me. and then he should lie and tell me everything will be alright… (as long as I play the role he wants for me, of course 🙂↕️)
they’re sending me back to the hospital as we speak /j
Forgive me, I was ovulating... I usually save a lot of freaky asks for answering during those times... So I'm properly freaked out for you all!
how toxic are sre norton and richard in their matches?
Neither of them gets toxic in their matches at all, it's unsportsmanlike. Though Richard may be irritated, he keeps it in and rages in private.
Norton, meanwhile, will probably curse under his breath and be visibly annoyed, but he'd never be toxic.
They're professional players... Richard can't even ping yoyo like he wants because he has to keep up his appearance as a charming princely type of player.
