“Alright, leave it to me then.” With that, he grabbed the ingredients for the curry while keeping an eye on the coffee pot. He’s done this a hundred times already so he knew the time. Though he had to think of what exactly he wanted to the curry flavor to be. He could just follow the recipe sure, and that would be a sure fire good meal. But, that didn’t seem like a good idea to him. He wanted to try something out. So with that, he started to get to cooking.

First it was the normal ingredients to a curry mix, though that’s when he grabbed an apple and started to shave off the skin of it into the pot. This would give the curry a bit of a sweeter taste as well. Once he was done with that, he put the apple to the side and started to work on the curry once more. After a bit, he left it alone grabbing a cup and walking over to the pot.

“Cream and sugar, or just as is?”

EYES EXCITEDLY WATCH AS REN works his cooking magic. Kasumi doubted that the curry-flavored bento she made him so long ago could even slightly compare to the real thing. She was confident enough in her bento skills but... something like the curry ?? That was out of her league entirely. “ Hey, Senpai... ” She starts to speak up, “ I was thinking... Maybe next time I come in could you teach me how to make curry like that ?? ” From all the times she’s dined here it’s been otherworldly, and she’d love to try to make it herself. That is... if his boss would even let him share it.

“ Cream and sugar would be great -- you can go heavy on it if you’d like !! ”

If she jogged home, she’d be able to work off all the extra calories.

“I don’t mind it, just don’t tell Boss I really don’t charge you whenever you come visit. The last thing I need is a lecture about how giving away freebies in this sort of business isn’t always a good thing.” He could already hear it, followed by a snarky remark of if he was trying to do it to get brownie points with a girl. That was a roller coaster ride Ren was not mentally ready for, and he isn’t sure if he ever will be.

Though when he heard her stomach growl, he did chuckle a bit. “So, I guess we’re going with the combo tonight..I can do that yes.” However, he was thinking to himself what exactly should he make the curry of. He already had the coffee brewing, and the coffee he was making was on the sweeter side thanks to the beans he chose, so maybe a spicier curry?

“How spicy do you want the curry?”

SHE GIVES A SMALL NOD of the head at his words. Kasumi had a feeling that if she even tried to protest the free meal Ren would shut the idea right down. “ I won’t tell him.... But what if he notices more ingredients than usual are missing ?? ” Well it’s possible he could always think that Ren just made a meal for himself but.... She eat a lot more than the average person. If he were to get in trouble because of her she’d feel horrible !!

Well, if it came to it she’d just pay him back...

“ Thank you Senpai !! ” Another growl of her stomach follows her words. As an athlete she really burned through the calories -- so she needed to eat more to compensate for that. She presses her finger to her lips in thought as he asks her about the curry. “ Could you make it a little spicy but more on the milder side ?? ” Kasumi just wanted it to be spicy enough that it would give her the energy to jog to the station when she eventually headed home. Anything else could be a little bit too much for her.

It was rather slow at the cafe today, to the point that Boss felt like he could leave the rest of the closing duties to Ren. Though, that was fine to him, he’s closed the shop many times by now so he knew what he had to do. Yet, when he heard the door open once more. A small chuckle escaped his lips. There was one of two options that was, however he was able to figure out who it was pretty quickly seeing that he wasn’t yelled at right away.

“I see, we’re on Kasumi hours tonight aren’t we? Cup of coffee?” Really, he never minded when anyone dropped in late that he knew just to chat with him and such. Though, for some reason she came the most often. However, if he remembered correctly she came the most often after they closed. Once he finished washing the dishes he was working on, he walked over to the coffee machine, turning it on.

AFTER A LONG DAY OF PRACTICE KASUMI had originally planned to head straight home and have dinner with her family. However a text from her father caused her to change her mind. He told her that he was working late that night and wouldn’t be home until much later in the evening. Instead of spending her night in the house all alone she thought it’d be better to pay Ren a visit at Leblanc. Maybe she’d finally try the curry that everyone talked so favorable about ??

She enters the building with a smile, happily waving at Ren as he washes the dishes. “ You don’t mind that I’m here after hours do you ?? ” Was what she’d first ask him. The last thing that she’d want to do is cause any trouble for him... “ A cup of coffee sounds great if you’re offering though !! Would it be too much trouble to ask for some curry, too ?? I just finished practice and I haven’t eaten yet... ” There’s a light laugh after saying this, followed by the very loud grumbling of her stomach.
