“Hello,” Makoto smiled at Ren, looking out at the train station. As much as she wanted to get home, part of her was also dreading it. Sae wasn’t going to be home that night, busy at the office, and Makoto didn’t really want to be on her own. The sadness sort of just settled in her chest, but she did see some salvation in hanging out with Ren, if he did say yes. “Would you... object to hanging out with me? I’d rather not go home right now. It’s alright if you’re busy,” She knew she was starting to ramble, so she quickly stopped talking.

there`s a smug look on her face as she faced with the masked hero , Joker . sarah only heard rumors of these so - called Phantom Thieves , but never did she believe they existed . she found what they did kind of ... cute . helping those escape the negative place they are in and doing all they can to save those in need .

For Goro Akechi, it was yet another Sunday, which often meant for a brief respite from his usual efforts. He’d decided that, for this Sunday in particular, he would again trouble test Ren with his presence at Cafe Leblanc. Not unlike him in the slightest, Akechi would show up without warning, not even opting to message he or the others from the group chat. Would anyone stand to be surprised? Perhaps not. Regardless, Akechi reaped amusement from such a trivial thing in his own peculiar way.

A long yawn escaped Ren's lips before he finished stretching. His eyes blinking a few times to show he was tired, yet he still kept his books open for studying. "Akechi, how long do you study for your finals?" It was a genuine question, one that wasn't meant to play tricks. He just wanted to know, one student to another.

   the  tapping  of  his  pen  against  the  wood  stops  dead  mid  idle  beat.  it’s  an  odd  sense  of  dread  that  follows,  clearly,  judging  by  the  quick  flick  of  his  wrist  to  his  watch.  ah.  he  musters  an  apologetic  smile  then,  and  begins to  stand  up,   ‘‘   i  apologize,  i  didn’t  mean  to.  time  always  passes  faster  around  you,  it  seems,  haha.  i’ll  be  leaving  now.  thank  you  for  the  coffee,  amamiya - san.   ’’

               WAS THAT EVEN REALLY something that he needed to tell her ?? She knew better than to let herself fall to the villains — may it be the ones in the METAVERSE, or the ones in real life. Perhaps he was just saying it to look out for her or simply because he cares. Hifumi couldn’t really say for sure. What she DID know was that she didn’t plan on falling anytime soon, not while there was still work to be done.
