The Saint-Sauveur Basilica of Dinan (Côtes-d'Armor, France).
The oldest - and therefore Romanesque - parts of the building date from the twelfth century, while the majority of the Gothic monument today visitable results from the reconstruction work initiated in 1480. Nowadays, the basilica hosts remarkable pieces of art and history, in the midst of its many chapels and splendid arches.
(The photographs show, in order: north Collateral, photograph by Édouard Hue ; the entrance porch, photography by Daniel Jolivet ; the choir, Édouard Hue ; the nave, by Amaldamarez ; Baptismal Chapel, Édouard Hue ; nave, with a view of the organ, idem ; the choir and its main altar with canopy altarpiece, Daniel Jolivet; southern chapel, Édouard Hue ; south arm of the transept, idem ; and finally, nave and choir, idem. The original photographs have been modified)
